Goin' Home With The Rolling Stones '66

No question that Mr Mankowitz was an able photographer who had great access to the Stones. As a collector of long standing I have many of his books. There are always some pictures I’ve not seen but mostly it’s the same ones being published over and over again.I knew that before I bought it and yes, there are the few that I haven’t seen before.

Without doubt Gered Mankowitz has taken by far the best personal photos of the Rolling Stones but the relatively small size of the photos ( 34 - 19cms x 25cms + 40 smaller photos) left me a little disappointed. Still, I'm happy that I bought the book because most of the photographs I either had not seen or had copies of before.
