Real Cooking 18193-UK Blume Chocolate Pen, for 6 years plus, New

Bought this for my 5yo daughter. Easy to put together and worked with melted Dairy Milk fine. Will try cooking choc next time. Moulds made lovely chocolate designs.

As with these sorts of things they never work in real life but the kids see the videos and you say how many times have you been taken in by this stuff and it never works and we're stuck with a load of plastic waste and crying kids! It's one of those!

Home school cookery lessons with chocolate as a bonus! Very pleased to have discovered this chocolate pen. It's a weekly addition to our covid home school curriculum.

Absolutely terrible product. How it has scored an average 4 stars I do not understand, I would have scored it 0 if I was able. After reading the reviews I concur with all the ones that state this is a waste of time. Sadly I have been sucked in to buying yet another of these plastic wastes of money, after my kid saw adverts on the tv. The pen doesn’t work properly, doesn’t suck up the chocolate, bits of the surrounding plastic casing kept falling off into the bowl of chocolate, we ended up having to spoon chocolate into the barrel. Chocolate all over my kitchen. Then it wouldn’t put the chocolate out properly, dripping bits all over the place. We abandoned trying to make freestyle patterns as the chocolate was just coming out in blobs. Resorted to making the chocolates in the moulds. The pen kept clogging and we spent more time cleaning the end and trying to make the chocolate flow out. Would have been a much easier task just spooning melted chocolate into the plastic shapers. So frustrating. Daughter upset and crying. And at £20 it is also a rip off. Save your money and the environment, don’t buy this.

Absolute rubbish! Doesn’t do what it says it does, caused a lot of stress for a child wanting to use it! Would not recommend by any standard!
