The rim itself is excellent. High quality double wall rim-brake 26" MTB rims are getting hard to find. Many of the remaining choices are touring rims that are a little too narrow for optimal fit of 2" MTB tires. The Rhyno Lite is a nice width and the "box section" style looks right at home on a vintage MTB. The design and construction makes for a *much* stiffer rim than the 30-year old single wall Araya I'm replacing. The rim built up easy and I was able to get good true with very even spoke tension.One star deducted for the following:1. "MSW" in the listing title is a little misleading. Sun Ringle has a version of the Rhyno Lite called Advance Brake Track or ABT where the sidewall is fully machined to maximize braking performance. The sidewalls on these are just non-anodized raw aluminum extrusion, which is "standard" for Rhyno Lites. At this price I didn't really expect the ABT version (the ABT rims are usually $15 - $20 more), so I wasn't surprised. But if you really want an ABT MSW rim, this isn't it.2. The rim is Schrader valve drilled. The listing actually didn't specify, but it would be nice if it had.3. The rim arrived well packed, but a protective foam wrap was held on by at least a dozen tamper-resistant "price tag" stickers. It took 10 minutes of peeling and adhesive remover to get them (and the residue) off. Come on guys, buy a roll of saran wrap and make everybody's life a little easier.
