This highlighter is beautiful. It looks so pretty on my skin. It is super soft when you touch it with your fingers. It applied really well with a makeup brush. Unfortunately mine arrived broken in pieces, but customer service was great and they are sending me a new one. The compact is nice and it has a mirror in it. I really like this highlighter, it’s very pretty.

Advertisement shows woman with dark complexion rocking this highlighter, but on me, this looks very white, powdery, and dusty looking. The highlight it very weak, and my skin is 3-4 shades lighter than the advertisement.

This looked golden to me. I thought I got the wrong product when I saw it was a dusty pink. It goes on more silvery-white than pink and doesn't seem as cool-toned as most pink highlighters but still isn't as flattering on me. I do like that you only need a little and the shimmer is more luminous than sparkly. Unfortunately, the powder also arrived broken both times I ordered it and a complete mess even on the outside of the box. It was in a bubble bag as well, but that clearly didn't help. It wasn't sealed either. It's affordably priced at $14 plus an extra 5% off, but this didn't work out for me.

This arrived broken to bits and I was devastated! (Which happened during transit and was no fault of the brand.) I’m no stranger to broken powder so finely crushed it all up and mixed with alcohol to try and salvage it, which I mostly did. I’m glad too, because it’s such a beautiful powder. It’s so finally milled and buttery smooth, and the finish is such a beautiful radiant shimmer that does not have chunky flecks of glitter. It’s buildable so you can have a very light highlight or go bold. Love that it’s talc free as well. Definitely recommend this beautiful powder.

I really like this Pure Cosmetics Velvet Vixen Highlighter. The compact itself is heavy and well-made. The mirror is the full width of the compact, which enables me to see enough of my face to apply the powder in the right places. When applied with a large brush, this creates a beautiful, subtle shimmer. The mica particles in this makeup are micro-fine and create a dewey look when lightly applied. If I want a metallic look, I can build this up or swipe it on with an applicator instead of a brush. I have fair skin, and I think this shade is perfect for me. This is my new favorite highlighter.
