Highly Recommended Law Enforcement Approved
In my opinion, the best way to polish. The first time I every used one of these I was given a "hand me down" that was roughly 15 years old or more. It was completely gray and didnt have a speck of yellow left on it. Being fresh out of the Marine Corps and newly hired on law enforcement officer, I wanted to look sharp. All of my "new" equipment was not well maintained at all. My brass was extremely tarnished and brown and my badge was in poor shape even to the point of a green residue buildup on it. I took this old polishing cloth to all my once shiny brass and made it look new again. For something quick and on the go you cant get anything better than this. One quick wipe and the brass will look good as new. I highly recommended this to all my coworkers and friends. I actually bought some of these in bulk and were giving them away vouching for this and standing firmly behind their effectiveness.Using normal jewelry wipes and brasso can leave a white residue on the leather and I didnt want to take the time to use mothers on my equipment. This jewelry wipe will leave a little residue on polyester during the first couple of uses that can be wiped off with a little water but once its broke in it will last forever, even after it says to throw away after all the yellow is gone to it.

DON'T BUY!! CAUSES JEWELRY TO TARNISH OVERNIGHT!
Don't buy these cloths! There is something on these cloths that causes jewelry to tarnish overnight!I'm a big fan of silver. I used to work in a boutique devoted to unique, high quality silver jewelry. I have done jewelry repair and used a professional jewelers polishing wheel, as well as hand-polishing "rouge" cloths, for a long time. These cloths work well upon initially polishing. The first time I ever used one a couple years ago, I was very happy. I'm no longer in the jewelry business and effective, inexpensive polishing cloths are hard to find. Jewelry was bright and shiny and great to wear. Then I got up the next morning. The jewelry I had worn the night before was almost BLACK. This had NEVER happened to me before with any other brand of polishing cloths. A single polish should last at least a couple of weeks. The residue is also very tough to get off. When I first started using these cloths I had recently changed my skin care products so chalked it up to that.Over past couple of years I kept trying to use these cloths because they are economical and the jewelry looks good when polished. I tried various non-tarnishing strategies like using the cloths then washing the jewelry in ammonia to get the cloth residue off. Also washing in ammonia to get the tough tarnish off before polishing, then rewashing in ammonia again. Nothing worked. I wear my jewelry and wake up to black in the morning.I have not used the skin care products in question for months, and the clothes are still tarnishing my jewelry overnight. The last straw came a few days ago when I used the cloth to quick-shine a 30 year old stainless steel cuff bracelet. This cuff is a unique piece that has withstood th test of time, staying shiny and good looking over three decades of use. After polishing ONCE with these clothes, the stainless steel bracelet has dulled and it looks like acid etching on the finish. So, BUYER BEWARE!! When you buy cheap Chinese crap you always get what you pay for!Next purchase is Dremel with a mini-polishing wheel. Should have done that years ago. I just hope I can save the jewelry that these horrible cloths may have ruined.

Use These For Your Fine Metal Work
Well, once again, I prove I LOVE these polishing cloths. I have purchased and repurchased them for several years to car for my wife's jewelry, for polishing the family sterling flatwear; for caring for the steel on my custom knife collection. I DO go through these: they get dark and I move on. I get my best results with a relatively fresh cloth. I do NOT find that a dark cloth removes tarnish so well. In my experience of a good many years of metal care, tarnish can be removed...but it can also be redeposited from this type of cleaner. The 'SHINE/LUSTER' is worth replenishing these as needed for your fine metalwork.

The Very Best Ever Polishing Cloth!
Sunshine Polishing Cloths are the only ones that I will use. Once I discovered them at a local shop, there is no going back. I handcraft jewelry to sell and there is plenty of polishing to do. How do I describe them? It takes less time and energy to clean my silver components then using any other cloth. And I have tried many over the years. Also, you can literally keep using them until the cloth is in shreds, they continue to work. Thanks Amazon for carrying them.

Only regret is not buying this in the first place!
I had some gold filled pens I had picked up but they were tarnished and dirty. I tried just simple cotton washcloths, ultrasonic cleaner, etc. They were looking better but these cloths were a game changer. First of all they worked and worked better than anything I had tried. Second, the change was almost instantaneous. I polished a pen for less than 60 seconds and it looks brand new. It also got into the creases/details of the pens and cleaned those out. It took 30 years off in 30 seconds. If I handed you any of my items that I cleaned you would swear that they were brand new. They now have a customer for life. I'm going to try to clean some stubborn silver tonight but after seeing what they did today I am not worried. Only downside is that they aren't washable but for the price it's fine.

Great product
I was excited to find this package of 5. A jeweler gave one to me with the purchase of a piece of sterling silver jewelry. Sunshine Cloths do a remarkable job. My original cloth lasted for many polishings but ultimately filled with tarnish and had to be replaced. I highly recommend these cloths. They were able to breathe new life into some heirloom silver a friend inherited.

Super Easy and great quality
I inherited silver from a family member. It was well-taken care of but super annoying to polish. These clothes do an excellent job. They are a bit pricey but well worth the extra cost!

Disappointed with this purchase
I thought these were the original sunshine cloths that I had in our store for jewelry. These are thick and do not clean near as well. Disappointed with this purchase.
