Lionel Christmas, Electric O Gauge Model Train Accessories, Roasted Chestnuts Retreat

This is a nice addition to a Christmas train layout. It replaces any 10” track sections. Great detail and good track connections.

Every year I set up my Lionel Train as a Christmas decoration. I'm always liked the steel girder train Bridges, so when I was looking to buy one this smaller Christmas greeting Bridge showed up on my feed. I bought it just for the logo. It is low profile but it seems cozy and actually fits the track of my old Lionel train. I'm glad that I bought this.

It's a nice little bridge for when you put the train around the Christmas tree. Very easy to put together. The only two issues I had were if you use it with the girders on the bottom of the bridge the wording is upside down. Also, I needed a piece of straight track section leading into the bridge. If a curve was leading into the bridge the engine's cattle catcher would hit the bridge girder. This item was much less expensive on Amazon than it was in my local Lionel store.

First one I received was in a postal plastic sleeve and a plastic bag and the display packaging. The base is an open plastic frame with Fastrack rails. It is not as rigid as a standard 10" straight Fastrack. Needless to say the rails were bent almost 1/4" making it unusable. If it is not shipped in a rigid outer box, it will probably arrive bent. The second one is fragile but it arrived in good order and I placed it carefully on my layout. It should have a metal bottom like the covered bridges.

Not quite as good as I expected but I like it. Really helps make the track festive. I recommend it. It’s worth the money
