AUX Bluetooth Adapter for Car, Music Streaming, Handsfree Calls, Portable Bluetooth Receiver for Home Stereo/Headphones (Bluetooth 5.0, Dual Device Connection, 10H Battery Life)

I purchased this to use for streaming Bluetooth in my BMW. I thought this would be ideal since it was chargeable and would stay on in accessory mode. BMWs switch off the cigarette lighters in accessory mode. It connected just fine but a significant problem became apparent. It only plays in mono not stereo. What good is streaming music in mono? I will say that I had to use a 3.5 mm cord instead of the included plug adapter in order to be able to close my console. The console would have closed but I wanted the charge cable installed at the same time. The plug for the charger is directly opposite the plug which makes it too tall to close my console. It is quite possible the 3.5 mm I used didn't connect correctly resulting in mono.

It's a receiver, not a transmitter! Had to return it because the title, "Universal Bluetooth Transmitter" does not match the description, "This music receiver (hands-free) is designed to receive music from mobile phones or transmitters that feature bluetooth wireless technology" and I was fooled. I have used the Sinvitron transmitter for three years and love it. I needed another but that brand is no longer available. I thought this would do the trick, but it was not what I needed. I can't really comment on the quality of the product because I just boxed it up and sent it back, but the title is incorrect.

To connect this to an iphone you need to have it "forget" the device, turn bluetooth off/on then reconnect every time. Battery life is in the minutes. Reception from any more than 2 feet is pretty bad. It does what it's supposed to do but demands far more effort to fulfill its purpose than is reasonable. It's like they used it once - while plugged in to a charger - and an inch away from the device... then decided it was done and needed no further testing even though everything beyond those conditions is either broken or half-broken.

The idea of blue tooth in place of Auxiliary cord so we could charge our phones at the same time since they are iPhones they have a unique charging port which is the same look Quetion we have to use for the auxiliary cord adapter. The sound cuts out quite a bit and the battery does not last very long I suppose if you were really diligent about charging and taking it back out to your vehicle it would work well but we have a busy life with multiple children.

Overall the product works for me. My car is too old for it to come equipped with Bluetooth, so I went with this product. It’s done the trick.The only issue I’ve run into was battery life (which is no problem if plugged into the cigarette lighter, I leave this in the car), the number of devices that can be connected at a time (one), and speaking to people through the car. For some reason, the clarity of the call isn’t great hearing. That and the volume has to be adjusted at that point.

My Car's Handsfree Link Does Not Allow The Capability To Stream Music Thru My Car Speaker From My Phone But I Was Able To Stream Using This Powerful Piece Of Technology ... Definitely Worth It! (Loved The Price Too) It's A Great Product. If It Powered On And Connected Each Time You Started The Car, This Would Be A Super Amazing Product! (Instead, You Have To Manually Power On Each Time)

I received a unit that did not work. Looking at some of the other reviews perhaps there is a quality control issue with the product. Perhaps that's the way it is for products priced this low. The important thing is that this seller contacted me and quickly sent me a replacement, and the replacement works perfect. I knocked off one star for the QC product issue, but the company is 5 stars.

I know my audio, so I know what I expect. First, the item pairs quick. I like this, unfortunatly it has some drawbacks. The audio is in mono, and the left and right channels come out of both speakers, so goodbye stereo theme. Next, the bt audio device preset output is too low. I have to turn my volume up uber loud to hear it. So.....i lost 14 bucks, but a nice idea anyway. If the seller wishes to contact me, please....by all means.
