This collar was very inexpensive. I chose this collar primarily because a week or so prior, I had received the matching leash from the same manufacturer and was impressed by the quality of the leash, especially considering how inexpensive it was. Well, just like the leash, the collar did not disappoint. It is also extremely durable-feeling and well-made. It doesn't feel even the tiniest bit cheap, it feels like it cost significantly more than it actually did. I have a Beagle/Blue Heeler mix and when I measured her neck, the measurement was 16 inches, so I chose a medium-sized collar based on the size specs provided by the manufacturer. The sizing is perfect - this collar definitely fits her much better than her previously collar did, and I am sure she appreciates the added comfort of the soft neoprene on the inside of the collar. The metal ring where I attach her leash (yes, that ring IS metal and is DEFINITELY NOT plastic as some reviews have claimed) feels like it's made of good quality metal. The leash attached easily and securely. I also attach her name tag with my contact info to that part of her collar (we usually use a harness with her unless she is just going out to pee real quick). I didn't have too much trouble getting the tag onto the collar and I am not at all worried it'll fall off. The collar itself fits perfectly, being tight enough to not slip over her head to fall off, but being loose enough that I can easily get two fingers under the collar, between the collar and her neck. The clasps that buckle it on are made of plastic - but they also do not feel flimsy or cheap. The buckle is made of nice, heavy-duty plastic that buckles securely and feels like it isn't going to break at all Overall, this is a great collar that looks and feels like it was not just more expensive, but significantly more expensive, than it actually costs.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:We LOVE this collar! Our boxer has thin hair and every collar we bought her would rub her raw after awhile. This collar she’s had for awhile and through some rough play with her fur-brother we ended up needing another one. I had an issue (that was my fault) and the company quickly replied and graciously corrected the issue even though it wasn’t their fault. Very heavy duty and adjustable! Hopefully this is the only one my cairn puppy needs! The metal clip is pretty strong. I spent about 5 minutes moving it around and softening it up, it came pretty stiff.

Nice collars, but now that I have them I am not thrilled with the white stitching. Having them in hand, the stitching is really quite wide. The hardware is plastic not metal. My dachshunds are very hard on collars, even leather collars do not last that long. These appear to be reasonable quality, but are a bit thinner than I expected. But time will tell.

Love the collar! Would buy it again! Easy to put on and off our dog. Good lock on collar and a place to put his license tag is on the hook which is sturdy. Our dog is small and weighs 23 lbs. perfect for him!

I really like the padding inside the collar, it makes my dog much more comfortable. The thickeness is perfect and I love the color. An overall good collar for your dog thats very adjustable size wise. The plastic isn't as cheap feeling as I thought and it's already held up to heavy play time sessions.

I have this collar in multiple colors because you know a girl has to have some fashion. But seriously I usually walk my dog late at night or early in the morning at the high school track across the street. I am able to keep an eye on her when I turn her loose to run a bit. And yes, in the second picture Gia is drinking from a water bottle left by one of the kids after practice.

Great purchase. The color is very bright and vibrant and the reflection at night time is very helpful as I have smaller dogs and no sidewalk available in our neighborhood. Makes it easy for them to be seen
