Great Product - But Don't Get Swindled By This Inflated Price
This produce is available from most big-box home furnishing stores (I went to one whose name rhymes with "Blows"), if you're patient, ask when the next shipment is arriving, and are willing to wait a day or three . . .in order to save a solid $150-$200 off the post-COVID gouged price advertised here. That being said, I have seldom encountered an easier-to-assemble product in quite a while. Decent instructions and drawings, the only problem being that some of the parts were already combined in the box tough they were separately catalogued in instructions that were otherwise clearly written. The heat output is great on this unit - 48,000 BTU is probably the accurate measure. The overall build IS a bit lightweight - I mean that somewhat negatively, in that the stainless steel build just feels kind of flimsy. That being said, this isn't a device that should need to withstand a lot of torque. I see that shields are available online to help focus the heat output - I'm going to try MacGyvering one in anticipation of cold winter days when we still want to enjoy our deck and patio. For now, it's hardly necessary.

Very nice and recommended heater.
I’ve seen the reviews regarding cost and have a different perspective... while this may be available at Lowe’s for $150, and I applaud those who got it at that price, these darned things are in great demand due to COVID. It wasn’t available from Lowe’s when I searched. Anyway, the restaurants in Maryland are buying these in huge quantities so that they can accommodate outside dining on cool/cold evenings. So, I paid the higher price and I get the laws of supply and demand. But, I’m glad to see the price dropping to a “new normal.” Anyway, this is a really nice heater and it works well. It’s relatively easy to assemble with just a Phillips screwdriver, 10mm wrench and 14mm wrench and the instructions are easy to follow. The kit even includes a cheesy double wrench if you don’t have them yourself. The longest part of the assembly is removing the protective plastic film on the stainless parts... and even that wasn’t terrible. It took me about 90 minutes to put it together, which is longer than the 60 minutes the directions specify... a second set of hands would be helpful but isn’t necessary. I like this heater and while I would have preferred a lower price, I’m don’t have any regrets. Heck, if I waited too long for the prices to drop, it’ll be so cold out that no heater will manage. In the first night of use, I could comfortably sit at the outside dining table in a T-shirt in 56 degree temps with the heater set to only about 25% of it’s capability. Finally, I like the design of this heater with the base section having a flat top... that serves as a small table. No, the base doesn’t have additional and large internal steel structural support... but as an engineer, I’d say it’s designed and manufactured to last a while. If you’re looking for something for moderate use, this is great. If you want something with auto like crumple zones that’ll survive a hurricane, you might want to keep looking.

Overpriced...$150 at Lowes
The heater itself works well. It took longer to assemble then I thought it would, mostly because everything is wrapped very well (which is good as it means there wasnt any damage). Biggest issue I have and the reason for 3 stars is the price here as the day after I ordered it we found it at Lowes for $150.

Works for short-term but built-as-such - pay extra for the real thing.
Pricing is aligned with consumer demand. I would try and buy to one that is US built, or guaranteed to have an internal structure that supports the upper part. This does NOT have internal stabilizing and constructed fixed bars that within the propane area, dont exist. The welding on the attachment element are cheaply designed, and likely wont last more than 1-2 years of use if not properly stored. $300 with shipping. I'd rather pay $500 for a fully constructed unit. I do not recommend on the basis of construction quality, subpar at best, longer-term viability is extremely questionable, and some elements of heat distribution as tested by Low - Max. The company would've been smart to provide a cover at no cost, because that costs nothing to make, yet the super thin aluminum its made of, will last you one sea prone season. Overload COVID has people buying. Dont - pay extra for the better stuff.

Base was deformed/bent
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Base was bent and would not sit flat on the ground. External shipping box was not damaged so I assume it was poor quality control.

Great
This heater arrived promptly in just a few days, 2 days before the earliest date listed. The manual included had very concise directions to assemble and explanations of use and care. It was easy to put together. Easier with 2 people but doable with one. Everything is top quality and it looks very nice and works well.

Not a Perfect Experience
Unit arrived quickly - that part was great! The base of the unit was bent significantly upon receipt, and I'm on my third day of trying to get a replacement part. Garden Treasures is a Lowes private brand. Called the number as directed on the manual, and after one phone call and two emails, was told today to contact another arm of Lowes for help. Waiting on hold for them to try to figure out whether or how they can help me.The unit appears to be well-constructed. An important item to note is that they suggest that you anchor the unit to the ground using supplied screws and brackets. That's great if you have wood deck and don't want to move it. I have a stone patio, and would like to move it as needed, meaning I can't anchor it. Unlike other heaters, this doesn't have a base that can be filled with sand or other material. It will be top heavy and unstable on an uneven surface and/or in the wind. These heaters are so hard to find right now, that I felt the need to buy what i could find. It's over-priced, service support has been time-consuming so far, and the lack of a weighted base all make me wish that I had found or purchased a different item.

if ordered from CLM Arrives within delivery estimate. Easy to put together.
Product coming from US to Canada with this seller (CLM) makes it much easier and avoids a lot of headaches when shipped from China. We got it when they said they would which is huge and time it took was quite reasonable considering it is a pandemic and everyone wants one of these things. They estimate an hour to put together and took a little over that. Directions easy to follow. We used it a lot for social distance visiting outside and it definitely did the job.One thing with all of these heaters that you must remember is that you need to ensure you have a few extra propane tanks because you will go through propane much faster than you would in a bbq.Would buy a second one from this seller.
