Even though the product was defective, seller was really thoughtful to the needs and challenges faced by the purchaser. Timely responses.

For the price, it's a great buy. I paid about $160ish for it. As others have stated it does not come with a foot pad, but they made that clear in the listing. It's not a bad idea to get one, depending on where you are setting it up. We bought a hay bayle and set him up on that (it does come with a fold-out cardboard chair, but that's pretty useless). The reason it gets 4/5 stars is because of the motion/IR activation. It has a bucket, which is where it looks for motion. I guess the idea is you put candy in the bucket and when something is taken/moves, he pops up. THAT is the problem. If someone bends down to get something out of the bucket, he'll popup and can hit you with the shovel. So we ended up not using the bucket and instead took a foot pedal from another prop, put that under a welcome matt and put the welcome matt at the bottom of our stairs. As kids walked up, he'd pop up (he was to the side). Worked well (until the foot pad broke, but it was a cheap pad we had laying around).I like that it works on batteries also, less cords to run. Great buy and we look forward to setting him up next year.

Fantastic. Scared every kid!Had less kids this year due to CV19, but those that came got a good scare. A couple ran screaming. Made some little girls cry tho, felt bad.There are a few minor issues... the seat is just cardboard. But I put him in a real chair. This is not water proof, must be under cover. You need a safety pin to hold up hat, so face is shown. And I had to tie him back, because he slouches after a few actuations.

This guy is awesome! However his volume didn’t work properly, sending him back for a replacement. The one we saw in person was excellent movement and sound effects.

Everyone at my Halloween party loved him so much, I gave 4stars because I didn’t get the chair as described, the chair probably supports him better

The media could not be loaded.  Love my pumpkin man!! Does not come with foot pad you will have to buy that separate. Chair does not come with it. But I guess the cardboard that comes in the box can serve as a chair

He didn’t work like the ones I had seen before! His arms stay up in the air. I thought they were supposed to lay on his lap and go up in the air when he’s set off! Little disappointed! Takes away from the scariness when his arms are already up in the air!
