Pros:These candles are better than the Luminous ones I purchased a few years ago for my business. The “flame” is much brighter and looks real. My older ones have real wax as the base, but who cares about that when the flame looks so real on these.Con: I am a vibrational sound therapist and sporadic moments of silence are a part of the experience- I use these candles in my sessions. The gentle movement of the flame rocking back and forth can be heard slightly (I have 12 in a 21’x21’ room), but not enough to dissuade me from using them.

I just got these candles. It arrived super fast - in less than the 48 hours Prime I usually expect!I’m using these candles indoors so my review is useless for those who are looking to buy these for outdoor use.I read a ton of reviews and was hesitating to buy these candles but I’ll tell you this:If you don’t like real wax in battery operated candles, which I don’t (like), and if you’re considering buying these for indoor use, don’t hesitate! Buy it!You won’t regret it!I used some of my country primitive decals because I bought these candles to place on top of our kitchen cabinets.As far as I’m concerned, it was exactly what we needed for the top of our cabinets. It goes perfectly with our country star pip berries wall theme there.Please see attached pictures.I just got it so I can’t give a longevity review (how long it’ll last; how well it works on long term; candles and remote battery life, etc).I can definitely say that so far, I’m extremely happy with this purchase!I’m using AA’s Duracell batteries in two of these candles but since I ran out of Duracell AA’s, I’m also using AA’s Energizer Max in one of the candles and haven’t noticed any difference in brightness and remote control response, except when I try to operate the remote father than 25” away from the cabinets where I placed these candles!I’m extremely impressed that this remote control works from as far as almost the “ending wall” in our living room!I went over TWENTY FIVE FEET away while the candles are some 8 feet above the ground and this remote still worked!From about 27.5 feet away, the smallest candle remote response (both on & off) was slower and I had to press the “on & off” button a second time to get the smallest candle to work from that distance. Keep in mind that I was in a different room when this delayed response happened and also that I was 27.5” (ground distance) away from the kitchen cabinets and that such distance doesn’t include the cabinets height minus how high I pointed the remote control. I simply disregarding the cabinets height and am only counting ground distance.The small candle delayed remote response only starts happening when I go beyond 20 feet away from our kitchen cabinets.Other than that, all 3 candles on & off remote control response is immediate and simultaneous from as far as 20 feet away (without counting the height distance!).I didn’t expect anything such as dimming and “light flicking” options! Amazing how far we’ve come in terms of battery operated plastic candles!!Beyond 25” away, I also experienced a few remote control glitches and delayed responses when trying to use the dimmer and candle x light mode…However, once I was 20” away, all 3 candles responded to the remote control immediately and simultaneously! I’m absolutely impressed!These candles have flat wicks. Although I’m used to solid (rounded) stationary wicks I absolutely love that these wicks actually flick and make a tiny noise, which kind of simulates real candles. Turning these candles at nighttime are now “the thing to do”…it gave a lot of life to our kitchen cabinets and somehow, it’s calming to look at it while sitting in our living room.It was super easy to put the batteries on.It came with clear instructions.The plastic is good quality. It’s not 100% smooth plastic surface but I actually prefer a bit of texture, which makes these candles look more realistic.If the decals don’t hold up, I might need to use tape but so far, it’s sticking to these candles just fine!I think they’re a bit overpriced for battery operated candles (I paid $19.99) but I’m willing to pay a few extra bucks for good quality candles that last longer than the cheaper stuff.Hopefully that will be the case with these!I don’t see how these would work well under rain but again, my review is for indoor use only.If you’re looking to buy battery operated candles for indoor use, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE!UPDATE: Third day using these candles and remote control response remains perfect from 20 to less feet away and the timer also works perfectly.

After first opening these I was a bit skeptical, because the flame is just a piece of plastic. I was also worried that these were going to look yellow, but they don't! Photos make them look yellow but they are a nice cream color. I love these so much! I want to get more so that I can use them everywhere. They look so real! The remote control and timer is great. I have them set to come on in the evening and stay lit for a few hours. I also like that they use AA batteries, I always have those in bulk in my house. I will definitely be purchasing more!

I love these because they flicker like real candles without the worry of forgetting to blow them out. Also, with all the power shortages lately- I like the peace of mind of having some extra light. Very relaxing.. Candles can get expensive and these are more affordable/last longer and look just as great (without the scent of course). I’m pleased with my purchase. The remote works nicely from about max 10 feet away-but you don’t need to use it. I will probably buy more eventually.

These are really pretty and I'm using one outside in a light house to bring light and its great to use the remote when I want to turn it on! I was looking for something similar to this since I can't reach in there to turn it on each time. Makes it so much easier and works great outside and gives some nice candlelight. I haven't had it out in the open outside, it is in a clear cover in the lighthouse so I can't say how it would work out in the open.

These candles are excellent; just as good as the expensive outdoor candles (I have some of those too). Bright light, very nice remote control (they come on at the same time every night). I will bought these again for my daughter and she loves them.

These seem very nice so far. I especially like how easy it is to access tha battery compartment compared to previous ones I've purchased...a nice improvement!

They look like real candles without inspecting them closely. Give a nice feel to any room! I haven’t tested the waterproof part but will soon!

The candles are generally okay for the price. It was pretty much as expected, except that one of the candles makes the loudest clicking sounds when on. The moving “flame” hits the side of the candle every time it moves.I tried contacting the brands own customer service that they say to, and got no help whatsoever (no response for 3 days now)

These candles are a superior product in the flameless candle category!!! I returned a different set of candles back to Amazon (which I was promptly reimbursed for). I complained my other candles were returned because they were not realistic and the flames were barely visible.These candles flicker as described and indeed are realistic!Delivered on time, and good packaging. Glad I could find these candles.

Saw these candles recommended on Bon Appetit and checked them out. They ARE very realistic and the remote control is a nice touch. (although I think a market is building for a remote that can handle multiple 'toys' with their own remotes). Lovely atmospheric touch which will be much more appreciated when the nights get dark sooner. The only thing I don't like is that they need batteries, but using rechargeable eases the pain of that.

These are a great idea and look very realistic! ...Not all of the candles turn on with the remote every time making it necessary to open the battery compartment and manually switch them off/on, (could be user error), however, these candles make a very cozy addition to any room. Recommended.

Gibt ein verwechselnd echte Kerzenlichtbild ab. Geniale Konstruktion, Scheint aber etwas mit dem Timer nicht zu stimmen. Schaltet teilweise nicht nach der eingegeben Zeit ab.
