Prince of Peace Organic Oolong Tea - 100 Tea Bags (Pack of 3)

This tea is a great value for brewing Kombucha. I wanted organic oolong tea bags in a large amount since I brew a stronger tea than my "recipe" calls for. Since I brew in half-gallon jars, I use about 7 tea bags for each jar. The resulting kombucha is delicious!I have had no problems with tea-bag failure, and I find it very easy to carefully pull the tags and strings out of the tea bags since I don't want them in my jar of kombucha as the hot tea is brewing. To pull them out, pull gently sideways at the same angle of the string in the top of the bag.I find this tea also quite tasty just as a hot cup of tea. I prefer a gentle oolong, since I can brew my British Clipper, PG Tips, or Sainsbury's teas for a bolder cup of tea. I looked at other reviews of this tea on other websites and the reviews from avid tea drinkers and kombucha brewers were extremely high, with many overall ratings of 4.8 to 5.0 stars.I use two bags in my two-cup pot, removing the strings and laying them in the bottom of the pot, and let them brew for about 5 - 7 minutes after pouring just-boiled water (but settled) water into the pot directly on the bags. I gently lift the bags with out a spoon, letting them drain into the pot, making sure they are not squeezed as that imparts bitterness into the tea. Leaving the tea bags in the pot also can create bitterness, but often I can use them to brew one more cup. I find the slightly earthy, woody flavor quite appealing and often brew this when I roll sushi or make Japanese noodle bowls. It is the perfect complement to the meal.One other notable item, if you read the back of the box, is this: "Prince of Peace is a supporter of world relief efforts. I can't say enough about this tea! I have LOVED oolong tea for a oo-LONG time😂See what I did there?😂It is WAY better taste wise than any I have ever tried (and I've tried a LOT)and from what I have learned it is one of the most beneficial to your health... just under pu'erh tea (black) that I am also ordering from P.O.P!!!However for me, its first about organic (USDA certified of course) than price...Prince of peace has both excellent price and organic choices, but something FAR more important! Please consider ordering from this company as opposed to whoever it is you're ordering your tea from now. Do a little reading online about all of the amazing things they're doing with the money they make from selling this quality product! I am a big fan of the Prince of Peace Organic Oolong tea and drink at least 300+ bags of it a month. The cost adds up quickly, but with this three pack, I can wait a month before having to reorder. This is a great blessing. Plus, the tea tastes impressive in a variety of drinks I prepare. Plus, the great taste increases the value of this purchase! The only downside I would point out is that there will usually be 1 or 2 bags within the 300 bags will be empty, with no tea, but that isn't uncommon. I have seen it with single purchases as well. So, if you are someone who enjoys drinking a lot of oolong tea, then definitely need to consider this choice since many times, when making similar purchases, either a double or single to add everything up, you will pay more than $20, so the price is also great!

I would give this product 10 stars. Besides great tasting it has a lot of health benefits which includes antioxidants and appetite suppression/weight loss. I now drink one cup a day which helps me in my quest to live a healthier life. I no longer over eat because it suppresses my appetite which is huge thing for me because when I was over weight I would physically feel sluggish and unwell. Now I have more energy which translates to a more active life style.Great tasting, great value for the buck and one's overall health....

This brand of tea used to have a rich taste and flavor, but 6 years ago it slowly started to get a "watered down and bland" taste.Bring 8 ounces of water (per tea bag) to a full boil and remove from heat, wait 60 or so seconds, carefully pour hot water over tea bag(s) and wait 3 minutes, discard tea bag and pour through a "coffee filter" to remove excess tannins and grit.Enjoy the flavor of a bitter free tea

I love Oolng, but trying to find a good one is sometimes difficult, unless you are in a Chinese market. This is hand's down the best Oolong I have ever had. Ogranic, quality controlled (you Will find an inspiration paper in every box) with an added plus of what Prince of Peace does on a humanitarian effort make this a monthly 3 box buy for me. Hot or on ice as I enjoy it, hit the buy now button, you won't be disappointed. Thank you Prince of Peace for an amazing product and all you do on a humanitarian effort. All other products fail in comparison to this product. If there was a 6th star Prince of Peace would get it based on the quality of the product they produce.

I have been drinking this particular tea regularly since 2017. I had read an article about how tea experts drink oolong because the health benefits are even greater than green tea, so I decided to give it a try . . . and I recently realized that I have been a lot healthier the past two years (no colds, less stomach flus, etc.). ALSO, I always add a Prince of Peace Oolong bag to my daily Yogi Healthy Skin tea because this oolong brings out the cinnamon flavor that is in the Yogi tea. I recently tried a bag of Prince of Peace Oolong along with a chocolate tea I bought, and the chocolate tea tastes a lot more chocolate-y with this oolong. I highly recommend Prince of Peace oolong tea.
