Star Wars Action Collection 12" Grand Moff Tarkin Figure

This Grand Moff Tarkin action figure/doll is a terrific figure. He's well made, stands on his own, and looks very much like the famed actor Peter Cushing. I would have loved to have a toy like this when I was little to boss around Darth Vader. If you collect the larger scale (12 inch or thereabouts) this Tarkin is a must have.

There aren't many Peter Cushing dolls out there in the world -- so when you find one, it's your duty to buy it and put it on a shelf. As I did. No regrets.

Ok so let me tell you I have this lil dude and I bought him unboxed so I can tell you all about how ripped he is without you having to feel guilty about freeing him from his paper prison just so you can take his clothes off (because lbh we all want to)The sewing on his uniform is awesome, it's all really well done and tidy and I'm really happy with it, and the whole thing comes on and off very easily, which is useful if you are disgusting like I am. His boots are way too big for his feet which is ironic considering Cushing didn't even wear boots in the movie because his feet were so freakishly huge but whatever he makes up for it with Giant Hands trust me these hands are like 3 times the size of all other dolls (the better to interrogate you with)I'm going to add some photos so everyone can see how ripped this figure is. Seriously idk who it was who was like "you know what the grand moff tarkin needs? a six pack" and on that same token I don't know what coworker of their wiped coke off their upper lip and went "okay but what if we also gave him nipples" and then WHAT SUPERVISOR looked at this man's absurdly large rack and went "yep that looks like peter cushing send it to mass production" but whoever they are they are my gods now because this is the most ridiculously built old man toy I have ever owned.I wish the new ones looked like this instead of emaciated slendermen, even if it does mean they have a wider range of motion. He has BACK muscles. He has SIDE muscles.Oh also the face sculpt is really good too, if a little cartoony.

Great price for a surprisingly heavy action figure (he's made of high-quality vinyl and plastic). The facial sculpt is very nice. The hands are a little dopey (they can't really hold anything). On the plus side, he stands quite well on his own. For the price, I'm delighted. Shipping was quick, too.
