Golana Swiss Men's AE200-1 Aero Pro 200 Analog Quartz Chronograph Black Leather Watch

The price seemed correct but I have a few gripes. First with the positive. The watch is handsome looking and bold. Ok now the downsides. The band is low quality. The leather seems real but after only wearing twice the black leather is already showing wear. The loop that is supposed to go over then band when it is on is too loose and so never stays in place increasing the risk the watch could fall off. That is a minor issue I admit. The one issue I found annoying is that the chronograph when reset does not set the minutes back to 0. It resets to 11 minutes as if the movement is messed up. This is an unacceptable problem. For the price paid I expect the simple movement to operate correctly. Really a shame.

Golana is a recent brand but the Look and the Style of this watch is like watches of the most important brand! About the Precision I can only say one word "Made in Swiss".

Two stars because I love how this watch looks - really elegant and sleek, but less than a year into owning it it started running behind. I changed the battery thinking that was it, but it wasn't. If I want to use it now, I have to first set the right time, and not really trust what it says after a couple hours - i.e. I don't use it anymore. I like it enough that I would consider buying the same one and hope for an inconsistent experience this time, but from reading other reviews it doesn't seem my odds will be good. But did I say it looks awesome?

After doing a lot of research on Amazon, I finally decided on this Golana, despite a lack of reviews...figuring I'll take the chance this once after having been impressed with the photos, marketing materials, and manufacturer's website. My strategy was to see it in person and if it had any cheap quality to it, I'd simply return. I've had the watch about a week now and have been very satisfied with the product. It has a nice, hefty (but not too hefty) feel to it and oozes quality. I couldn't justify the expense of a luxury brand, but didn't want to go economy either. This seems to fit right in the middle, which is quality manufacturing that I'm willing to pay for at a modest price. I'll try to remember to update in a few months from now to report on how it has held up.Only thing worth noting is not a negative, but a clarification. The red sweep dial is for the chronograph, not the second hand. Seconds are counted in a small dial at the bottom of the watch face.

I bought this item,when i was in US in May 2010 .Ordered from Amazon only.I liked the looks of it so thought it would be the same as all other SWISS Watches.But turns out it ruins the SWISS Brands.They should have never allowed Golana put SWISS Made on this watch.For the first few days,it ok.Then i moved back to India during July,and 1 drop of water fell on the glass during the rainy season and the glass broke,thats it.I was shocked,how could the glass break for just a drizzle.I thought it was 100M Water Resistant.So i thought there would be some way to get it replaced by Golana.I checked online to see whether they had any service centers in India.Indeed they had one as listed in Mumbai,but no contact number is there on the site.How would one contact them for service.Then i mailed their contact support on their site,but till today i did not get any reply back.Also then i contacted the Phone Number given for Worldwide Support ,no one picked it for 1/2 hr,then some makeshift call center people picked it up and said there is no warranty for Glass and i need to get it replaced locally,i asked them the phone number of the service center in India but even they dont have it.Worst support of all products i bought in my life.So with no support/contact from the company it got it replaced locally,then last month a new problem comes up.The date is not working correctly on the watch.So that is the status of this watch in 5 Months.I'm still going to write them and see whether they can provide a contact info of their Mumbai address and get the date corrected.So my sincere advice is please do not go by the SWISS Made brand and buy this piece of waste material ,waste of $170 .

I purchased this watch after about 40 hours of research wanting to stay under $250.00 as I am starting a family. After all was said and done, I chose this watch. BIG MISTAKE! Within four weeks the buckle separated from the leather strap. I looked and there was not even enough leather to maintain the stitching, hence it broke off. Of course despite this pathetic craftsmanship, the band is not warrantied. I now see why. The most egregious part of all this is that I have called the "USA call center" as well as sent e-mails to the two listed places on multiple occasions and have heard NOTHING!

I bought my Golana Aero and thought it looked good on Amazon's website. When it came, I was really impressed. The pictures didn't do it justice. Now, I've had it around 6 months but I have no issues with the quality of the leather or any scratches, loose pieces, etc. I wear it probably 3-4 times a week. Can't get a better watch for the price!

I had a GOLANA in the past and I had no issue. I cannot beleive it, I received that one and it wasnt working.
