Denman HAIR_BRUSH

Ho-lee-shiiiiii*. I have long (small of the back or so) hair, extremely thick, and it curls like crazy. Mad crazy. For a bad example, I've attached a photo of me doing my best Samara impression.Brushing my hair has always been a nuisance. I used the Denman styling brush for years after having my former gf gift it to me on Christmas. It never really did a good job on removing the tangles. When I snapped the handle in half, and set out to buy a new brush, I looked checked around for something meant for hair that spends more time tangled than straight. I found the Denman Tangle Tamer. I don't care that the version I got was hot-pink. I saved a few bucks on a brush that I wasn't sure would even work.But it DOES work. It works like freakin' magic. Super amazing magic. Don't question it, just take it from a person with thick, curly, tangled hair--magic. It works out the tangles amazingly quickly, gets all the broken strands out (and there's a lot of those), and has been able to handle the volume of my hair. Brushing was such a horrid experience that before I got this, I was about to chop the ponytail for donation, then shave my head. Was so done with the time and pain of brushing the tangles. Now...now I may never cut my hair again.

The brush detangled my natural hair with minimal hair loss and no pain. I'm extremely tender headed so that says a lot. Now I'm going to order the one for the shower. Great product!

This brush does help with the tangles - it is effective. I would not say it is painless though. There are less child complaints now, so that's good. If your child has fine or fragile hair like one of mine does - be careful - I've noticed that it can rip hair. Also, you need to follow it up with regular bristle brush, as the tangle tamer does not pull any natural oils through the hair.Good old fashioned conditioner/tangle tamer with a wide tooth comb still works best.

Brushing my 9-year-old daughter's long, thick, fine hair has always been a headache for both of us. Her hair gets so tangled, and she's very tender-headed. This brush works wonderfully! No more complaining and crying, and it gets the tangles out. It brushes all the way through her thick hair--not just the top layer like some brushes. It's lightweight, but my daughter mentioned that she likes that about the brush. I'm buying a second one. Highly recommended.

This small and light weight brush is great for children. I have long, thick hair and it does not manage it very well- takes a long time to brush out and can only take a small amount of hair at a time. Better for children.

This brush is great. The bristles are softer than the other Denman brushes I have. It is perfect for really getting down to your scalp to stimulate circulation. It glides smoothly threw my very thick curly hair. It works especially good for distributing the moisture cream and styling products evenly threw my hair.

I bought this for our three year old as well as another detangler brush. Out of those two, she likes this one best as do I. The teeth do not bend in our daughter's fine but thick long straight hair. The individual strands of hair is fine, but she has a lot of it hence it is thick and fine. It is also soft against her scalp, but tough enough not to bend. Our daughter brushes her own hair with it and then goes around to do everyone else too. The handle is perfect for her small hands to hold onto, and yes it does help with tangles.
