As indestructible as it can get!
***Update***So I've had this ball for almost a year now and it's still going strong!! Thought it was lost at one point (tragic) so had to order another. Luckily the original was found and have a back up, because this is a necessity. This fits in the ball launcher and really flies, has a great bounce too. I experimented to let my dog chew on it during play time to see how it would hold up, and no matter how hard he tries there's no tearing it to pieces or popping. It just may be the perfect size for his mouth so he cant nibble from the front or tear anything off but it's an extremely durable ball.***I needed to find a ball that would last for my lab to play fetch with. He would pop a tennis ball in about 2 seconds so I was going through a lot of balls. I tried other "indestructible" balls but found them to be too big or heavy for a good retrieving game. I was a little worried he wouldn't like it as hard rubber balls have a bad taste apparently and he'd drop them as soon as he put his mouth on it, but this was not the case. I've only used it to play and don't leave him unattended because he's a power chewer, but its lasted longer than the others so worth the money.

Best Ball EVER
My German Shepard has this ball in his mouth ALL. DAY. LONG. As a matter of fact, he loves his ball so much that we have bought 3 more so he can always find them wherever he is playing. They are virtually indestructible and they float. Which he seems to think is great fun as he drops it in the pool and then waits for me to fish it out for him just so he can drop it in the pool again. It must have holes somewhere because I can hear water or saliva sloshing around when we play and it gets heavy. it also bounces really well, even when full of said water or saliva. Keep that in mind if you play with it indoors because it can do some serious damage once it gets heavier. It is the only toy that has survived both of my aggressive chewers. My pups can tear through the Kong Extreme toys in less than 10 minutes so that should attest to the durability of these balls. I have included a picture of the big one so you can see it's size relative to the size of my GSD and my 16 year old. The smaller one is about the size of a tennis ball. And while they are just as durable, we have lost both of them somewhere in the house or the yard. The larger ones are harder to lose so I like them the best.

Best tennis ball alternative for safe dog teeth
We have a +40lb. Lab puppy mix rescue who is about 8 months old. She has destroyed any soft toys, eaten her crate blanket/towels and some pretty sturdy tough toys. She LOVES balls. I was concerned about the dental issues with tennis balls. We have had two other toys from this manufacturer as hand me downs from previous Lab mix rescues. Hands down, this is her favorite ball. We just ordered her a second in case the first one disappears on the acre property. The surface is firm, but not too hard, with just enough squish to grip easily. I really appreciate the ability to clean the toys in the dishwasher. Both dogs use this ball daily inside and out. The smaller size (I believe is 2.25”) fits in a Chuck It stick. My throwing ability needs the extra distance for the dogs to race/exercise their large muscle groups. Sometimes she just carries it around. We have had this toy over two months and it shows no sign of wear. If you have a very aggressive chewer, they might destroy any toy. Monitoring is the key to a safe toy for any dog. We now have five West Paw toys and both dogs are enjoy the interactive play and chewing relief they provide. Made in the USA is a great plus always.

Perfect ball for our chuck-it
Our dog loves playing fetch and as she likes to chew her balls like chewing gum, we needed something sturdy that she could not break in a day or two. Also, I noticed the surface of her old tennis ball would irritate her mouth and on further reading about tennis balls and possible toxic chemicals and "fuzz burns" I decided it was worth investing in something safer and more durable. So far, this ball has been great! She will "chew" it for a few moments during play, but hasn't done any damage to the ball. It fits into the chuck-it we use for fetch and the ball flies incredibly far plus has a great bounce to it. I haven't seen any irritation to my dog's mouth or tongue since switching to the Boz ball, so we are very pleased with it and definitely worth the investment. Also easy to keep clean and bright color helps us to find it in the grass or bushes. We love the West Paw toys for our dog as they are super durable, safe for our dog and environmentally responsible.

Indestructible so far! -UPDATE
My Lab can destroy a tennis ball in about 2 hours. I have had this first one for about 3 weeks and with daily use, still no divots or any significant marks. Floats very well. Folks at the dog park want to steal it! I have bought a second one. It is a little on the pricey side but hey, IT's FOR YOUR DOG! Only the best for him. UPDATE 4FEB2020: one ball is starting to get some open cracks although it is still serviceable and still floats. I will continue to use it for outdoors only as if he goes swimming with it, I don't want lake water coming out of the hollow space in the ball. I think where the "downfall" of this ball is letting him lie there and chew on it until he tires. It is really not a chew toy , especially for a big dog (because they will eventually trash anything give that concentrated effort.) It is a good fetch ball and he prefers it over standard tennis balls.

Great product that holds up
We have a 60 pound rottie who LOVES tennis balls but the average time before popping is 15 minutes tops. Since I refuse to buy any made in China toys this was the last of the made in the USA tennis balls so I needed to find a suitable replacement fast. West Paw Design factory is located in Montana and produces on site quality products at a reasonable price. Their operation is smooth and efficient with close to zero waste. With that said the small ball is the size of a tennis ball and it is a hit with our rottie. Ball has great bounce and strong enough to handle the chew factor that destroys tennis balls in minutes. West Paw Design backs all their toys and should your dog destroy this toy they will replace it. Like many dog toys they can get filthy and this ball is easily washed and dried. I am an individual consumer who was neither paid for this review not received any discount for this review.
