Amul's India: 50 Years of Amul Advertising (This is a book) Paperback – April 20, 2015

It is not only a book of advertisement or cartoons. It serves something more - (i) Pleasure to mind, (ii) Smile to children, (iii) Knowledge of contemporary society, (iv) Awareness to students & (v) Literacy to human being. Actually I watch Amul's cartoon advertisements regularly while going to my office on the way. After seeing it every time I tell my ninth-level daughter to see it. She also watches it while going by school bus. Both of us enjoy and get updated of the present situations. Thus we have grown an appetite of reading the Book. And after going through the book we were very satisfied.

Its like they couldnt find enough material to fill all the spaces. Some of the ads I remember from my childhood are not there also. Why they left those out, I dont know. As it is, book is great.

I have all three editions, and my kids just love going through them.

The book has amazing graphics from the past with a nice representation and the short notes by celebs. It feels nostalgic to read the progress of india and how Amul has withstand the taste of times and amazed us with its unique advertising.

Good one time read. I expected more details of the Amul phenomenon but the book is predominantly a collection of opinion pieces by outsiders associated with Amul. I am satisfied with their curation of iconic Amul ads though.
