Not super loud don’t expect to hear it in another room.
Reviews state that there is an off in switch. There is none also they state that the beeper is loud enough to Hesr in another room. It is not that loudI it purchased was Accuron timer

Has two extra features usually not present on other models
There are several different brands available via Amazon of timers that are almost identical to this one. Some are black, others white. All of them have an identically molded case. They all have same faults: Electrical contacts on the button switches eventually wear out, and a flimsy prop on it's backside that easily breaks off if the unit falls onto hard flooring.This unit includes a pair of extra features that are either / neither on most other other units that are otherwise identical. These features are definitely improvements:1) Can time up or down.2) Magnet is encased with steel, which concentrates all of it's holding strength on the timer's backside. Greatly increases that strength. However, the magnetic holder still has weak hollding strength by design, because of it's flimsy assembly to the timer's case.

excellent timer, better than expected
Well designed little timer. The numbers are large and easy to see, and the buttons press well, and the whole thing feels sturdy. It hangs, has a magnet and can stick flat to fridge, but it also has a kickstand so it can sit at a slight angle on a counter. This kickstand serves dual purpose as a clip on the fridge. When counting down to zero, the timer will keep counting past zero while ringing, which is nice if you need to know how much time past it is! Overall, it's not a revolutionary timer, it is a polished, well designed timer that feels about perfect.

Not so jumbo, but great timer
We have a different definition of jumbo, but this is a good timer. It can count up or down. It's easy to operate and loud enough to hear even if you are not in same room without being obnoxiously loud. I use it for cooking, time outs, homework drills. I also use it for my children to know how long they should brush their teeth and I time them when they have to clean up their toys and make a game out of it. They love it! I am thinking of purchasing another to keep one in kitchen and one upstairs.

The display is easy to read
The display is easy to read, and setting the timer is very intuitive. The combination of magnet and stand is useful and clever.I dislike that it beeps with every button press - even with the minute button held down, every increase beeps. I wish there was a way to disable this, because if you are setting the timer often it becomes quite annoying.

After three different others, this one I REALLY like!
While not "jumbo" in the Big Ben alarm clock sense of the word, this clock is larger and easier to read than any I've previously purchased. No frills; counts up, counts down and resets when you press the "M" and "S" buttons at the same time. Store it on your fridge, take it off any carry into your TV room while you're cooking. Good marks for simplicity and functionality.
