Q: Can this be turned sideways?

Not sure what you are asking. Screen can point in any direction as long as the feet are perpendicular to the frame.

Q: Can this be hung and pulled down from a ceiling? Also is the material breathable?

I suppose you could attach it to your ceiling if you wanted to overthink it. It folds up quite easily and is convenient to store. It works much the same way as sign display for a convention. You pull it out of its base and attach a rod to the top frame. As for breathable material, the answer is no. It's much the same as a projector screen, i.e. coated paper.

Q: Is the green screen itself replaceable if it gets damaged?

It doesn't appear so. You might be able to remove a ton of screws and try and find a screen that fits (or get one cut), but it wouldn't be easy.
