Replacement 971XL Cyan Ink Cartridge, 971 971 XL Ink Compatible for Officejet Pro X576dw X476dw X476dn X451dn X451dw X551dw Printer

These cartridges are very economical, match the original HP color profile PERFECTLY, and worked just great, until recently. My printer started reporting that there was a problem with the magenta cartridge, and refused to print. Contacting their customer support, they did an OUTSTANDING job of remedying the situation. They guided me through the installation of the proper firmware version, but this did not fix the issue. They will be sending me a replacement set of cartridges because they stand by their products and want their customers to be happy. This is outstanding customer service, and I'm very happy to be one of Supricolor's customers.

Ordered from a different company to save $5 but had to return as they did not work. This is my second purchase from them and the product works well at a phenomenal discount over OEM. Highly recommend.

We needed a cost effective method of keeping this printer full of ink. This did the trick. Just know that the ink is much more watery than HP ink and the color is about half-strength, as well. It's not actually black. It's not even dark grey. It's more of a medium gray. Fine for daily use, but this is a high quality printer we bought to make high quality prints. This product will not work for printing items requiring a professional look. It works just fine for day to printing of simple spreadsheets, etc. But, I will still have to invest in high priced HP ink for the print jobs requiring a professional look, or those needing to be more easy to read. The lighter ink color makes every document just a little harder to read. So, polish your eye glasses. I guess the best way to put it is this... the product worked great, in a tight. It was delivered very quickly, so saved the day, when I needed it to. I'm thankful for that and highly recommend it for that purpose. Seller is honest, delivered super fast and the price is right. Thank you. Just go into it knowing the print quality will be less than HP products.

You can't beat the price, but the printer keeps saying "one or more cartridge appears to be damaged" I can take the cartridge out and put it back and print one or two pages before it comes back. This is not acceptable seeing as it is for a busy office that receives faxes. I will contact supplier to see if they can send out a replacement. The down time is very inconvenient though. I will def give it another shot. I can't justify spending $480 on the HP ones.EDIT: I originally gave this two stars because of the aforementioned issue. I contacted the seller and they informed me that my firmware was most likely out of date and walked me through how to update it. I haven't put it through a thorough test yet, but it seems to be working properly. I will update if there's any change. For now, trust Supricolor! The slight hiccup is still better than forking over the $480 for HP ink. Color seems to be find as well.EDIT #2: 6 months later had another issue with one cartridge. Supricolor was very responsive and helped me figure out the problem. In the end it was determined that the cartridge was faulty. They replaced the cartridge, at no cost to me, and I am back up and running. Will definitely do business with them in the future and refer anyone else to them! Thank you!

Used in an HP Officejet Pro X576dw. Worked fine over a few months with a low number of color prints. Then print quality dropped. Repeated head cleaning did not solve the problem. Shown in attached photo. It was true of the two color cartridges I purchased from this source. Note that the Yellow and Black are OK, they were from another reputable source. Sorry I changed. Magenta and Cyan cartridges were nearly full. New cartridges immediately solved the problem. Sorry I cannot recommend this source of cartridges.

This was roughly a $100 savings over a comparable HP product. I just installed it and said 'yes' to non-hp product and started printing on my HP x476dw printer. I get error msgs from the printer periodically on my single cyan ink cartridge (non-HP ink, ink cartridge empty, printer frozen). I then have to remove the cyan cartridge (the only one I purchase to test this product), shake it up, and replace it. Then all works well. The printer works great on 95+% of the print jobs. It those other jobs that disrupts your day.

I bought the black ink but as expected, these feel like dark grey. It will look black if I put on a pair of sunglasses

I buy from Supricolor because they back their ink with a solid guarantee-- or at least I assume they do, because they have great customer service.Do yourself a favor and STOP UPDATING YOUR PRINTER. Each update just adds more chip 'codes' that are no longer valid, or at least that's my understanding. I'm serious-- you don't need to update your firmware any more. Your printer works fine, and each update only makes it want to use less 3rd party ink.This entire set is less than the cost of ONE standard ink cartridge, so you do the math. These are XL cartridges, so they last for a long while. By my best estimate, I probably get over 5-10,0000 sheets of paper per cartridge, and I do a LOT of business color printing. Even photos!This appears to be the best quality and price for these on Amazon, so buy with confidence.
