Columbia Unisex-adult Military Web Belt-Adjustable One Size Cotton Strap and Metal Plaque Buckle

This belt is exactly what I was looking for. It's very strong, easy to cut-to-size, looks good and the clasp/buckle stays put. It's fairly thick which is what I wanted. Contrary to other reviews, it's also very lightweight. The fact that it's infinitely adjustable is awesome. I bought the beige color, to go with shorts in various colors for summer, and I couldn't be happier.I had a piece of belt material left over after cutting it to fit. Out of curiosity I decided to bleach it to see if it could be lightened up a bit (I like the beige color but it's kind of a dirty shade... slightly darker than shown in the picture.) It turned yellow instead of simply lightening up so, unless you want a yellow belt, don't bleach this thing!!!Overall, great belt at a good price. Just what I wanted.

Bought this because I got tired of imitation leather belts that wore out quickly and were usually very costly. I am pleased with the feel and look of this belt. Am convinced it will last for quite awhile. One caution, when you are adjusting the size, it is always better to adjust the length a little at a time when you cut, because you can always cut more cotton webbing off if it is too long, but you cannot add it back. Frankly, better to have a belt slightly too long than one that is too short. Reflects Columbia's usual commitment to high-quality apparel. Great company.When I wrote this review above, I was very pleased with the belt. However, just recently the sliding catch broke into two pieces. Apparently, instead of being made entirely of metal, it is plastic-coated metal, and it snapped. The buckle is entirely unusable. Guess I'll buy another one, but I bought this belt thinking the buckle would last forever (or almost). Still a great fan of Columbia Sportswear. Wish they would replace the buckle, but probably can't expect it. Still a bargain....

I purchased two of these belts knowing that I would use them with my work clothes. The belts are durable and have a nice appearance but are not suited for dressing up unless you are in the military. They go great with jeans and casual slacks.

This web belt is a thicker and wider than the usual military ones. This means your old web belts could be used with this buckle, but this belt is a bit too wide to fit into your old web buckles. The overall belt is beefy and substantial. The buckle grips well and is a nice brushed silver. It came with a plastic saran wrap covering the buckle so it won't get scratched before I use it. The belt end stay does say Columbia on it but is is stamped in, not printed on, so it is not that noticeable. The buckle works the same way as the usual web belts. The belt is 45 - 46" long. The color is a very neutral tan or beige. I think it is a very nice, better than the usual 'go with everything' belt and I plan to wear it with jeans, khakis and summer shorts.

Design may have been "inspired" by the military, but it's differs from the military belts I've used. It's wider (see picture of this product next to my old belt) and barely fits through most of my belt loops. The end clip isn't pressed tight enough (see picture) so its corner sticks out and catches on the belt loop (see picture). I think that's kind of lame, especially for a big name like Columbia. It makes it hard to undo the belt at very inopportune times--like when I'm standing at the urinal and my bladder thinks it's good to go.On the upside, the buckle is sturdy and seems built to last. The webbing is thick enough to catch the friction stopper and hold. (I have a couple of old knock-offs with webbing so thin that it slips out slowly.)

My son likes this kind of belt as it's much more versatile than an average belt. Other belts tend to be stiff, and bulky, and always need extra holes made. This one adjusts perfectly It is very sturdy, but does not show through shirts

ordered this for jeans wear. Columbia is a good brand ., with specialty of outdoor and fishing gear.I was pleasantly surprised with the quality , for the price. webbing is substantial and buckle works fine.After a year and a half of wearing this belt and a tan one that I ordered at the same time I can say I stilt think it is one my better choices.I have seen these type of belts in Dept. stores for twice the price and not as good quality. I don't normally update reviews but I decided to laud the product and order an Olive one as well.

I like the material and the price. I first tried similar belts that were more expensive, the ratcheting types with synthetic materials and did not like them. The ratchet was really thick and pushed into my waist and the synthetic materials were shiny or stretchy. These are solid natural and comfortable. Definitely the best

These adjustable web belts are the a great, well made and comfortable casual all day belt,. A good 1-1/2” wide.The are available in a variety of usual colours, easily cut to length to suit your size. Up to 42”, apparently, I have a 33” waist and easily cut to size,The clasp, is traditional military./boy scout style. No hooks or eyes, truly variable.To put it on: feed the free end through the buckle, pull it tight, then pull the lock bar out and forward of the sliding lock-buckle with two fingers top and bottom, until it “seats” against the belt. It is easy to tighten my pulling the belt tighter, or loosen by re-adjusting the locking buckle.Now measure and cut it to “your chosen fit length”: Fit it through your pants, try them on. Measure how long the belt overhang end is “too long” for you. Remove the belt. Lift open the holding claw-clasp of the belt end still held in the buckle. Use anything safe and suitable to lift it up. Cut “OFF” how much “TOO Long” the Belt is from your own desired choice. ONLY from the raw end, not the end with the Columbia end tab. Fit the raw cut end back into the buckle, and close the claw-clasp.Enjoy your new belt.

En alguna ocasion pedi un cinto que no vino el color que necesitaba, este fue todo lo contrario. Todo muy bien y buen precio.

La supuesta unitalla es talla 42. Ojalá hubiera al menos mediano y grande. El producto es muy bueno y el precio está muy bien, pero ese detalle me detuvo de comprar uno de cada color.
