Composting is nature's way of recycling, turning your backyard garden waste into nutrient-rich compost soil over time. This particular composter is a tumbling and spinning composter design, which speeds up the composting process by aerating the soil with the built-in mixing bars. This garden composter can hold up to 105 liters (28 gallons or 3.7 cubic feet) in each chamber for up to 210 liters total. This composting bin also features easy assembly, sturdy metal legs, an easy-slide door, and a stopper for comfortable use. Even better, this tumbling composter bin is built to last season after season in your backyard. It's UV protected so your compost will break down, not your composter.

Cheap upgrade to resolve major flaw.
Read before assembly!Let me start by sayning i wished i have read the reviews before buying and specially before assemblying the barrel. Many reviews complain about the overall structure feels flimsy, i agree however the main reason for this is the little green and yellow clips that are used to connect the panels. In this regard, what i did is to replace those clips with hose brackets, which are 10000x stronger than the clips. I whish i have thought about this before putting together the barrel, as it was much more difficult to retrofit once assembled. If you substitute the clips putting this together it becomes 100x easier. I dont know if this will work on the long run or I will need to add some straps or similar solutions. However I'm sure this little change added significant rigidity to the overall structure. The brackets are very unexpensive at 80cents each, btw you will need 12 of them. My advice is to do this before starting using the barrel and if posssible while putting it together.

Easy
assembly was easy, directions were in the petroglyph format. Even Donald Trump could do this one!

great little composter
This style of composter is very easy to spin. I also have another composter (different brand) that has a hand crank that cost more and I find this style to be far better. The hand crank type often starts to jam and can be hard to get it going at times. This model is somewhat small. I am not sure if I can get a 6 to 12 months worth of compost in this while my other one finishes decomposing. Anyone thinking of buying this should consider the larger one if your going to add any yard waste along with your food waste. Plus you really need 2 units so that you can stop adding to one and wait the 6 to 12 months it can take to fully decompose.

Lovely size and design. Ok, Even fun.
This went together easily (my teen daughter did it). We have composted for years but really needed to downsize and improve the process. I love that if I want to move this, I can. And it is off the ground and should be secure against small animals. I can put a bit of yard waste in it but mostly it will suit us (size wise) for food waste. And when I spin it, I can pretend I am on a composting game show!

piece of dook
Parts would not "click" together. After some wrangling with the end drum panel, sort of stayed together...until I loaded it up with my prepared compost ingredients. Not only did it all fall out after a few spins but the "bars" to break up compacted stuff (they are a joke) fell out. Oh, and not a "Miracle Grow" insignia anywhere.

Miracle Gro tumbling composter
This product met all my expectations. Because of the vent system, small stuff flies out when I spin it. Since I wanted to keep it on my deck, I put a plastic cement bin underneath to catch the flyaways and keep my deck clean. later, when the weather warms, I will line the bottom of the cement bin with soil. I also put the whole thing on a dolly so I could move it into the sun if I need to do that.

Great Composter for a small space
It is the right size for small spaces and urban gardening. It is sturdy and a very good design. Had some difficulty putting it together because one edge of the six piece “barrel “ did not line up correctly and had to be trimmed. Otherwise, no complaints. I look forward to my first load of compost this coming spring.

Good for the price
Good product for the price. My fiance ended up building an elevated base so we could easily get a wheel barrow underneath. We're still early into composting the current batch, which will take some time with the current temps, so I cannot speak to that yet. My biggest complaint is that it leaks. Not as much of a concern now, we just put a box of leaves underneath, but I have a feeling we'll have to reinforce the bottom with sealant when warmer temps hit.
