Beautiful and interactive
Lovely illustrations and engaging content which has helped homeschool my 3 year old about the seasons and changes that occur as a result of them. Pages are different widths in order to have the effect of flaps and so that you can see the same environments split into different seasons. Imaginative and an enjoyable read - my son loves it.

Gorgeous book blending art, science & geography in the changing seasons across the world
A blend of poetry, non-fiction and art tales us on a journey through the year in different geographical locations and habitats; Europe, the Arctic, Alaska, Northern Australia, China’s Yellow Dragon Valley and the Kenyan Maasai Mara.I’m always excited to see a book by Clover Robin, her nature based art has a earthy vivacity to it that I love to see her explorations of topics! In each section it explores how the wheel of the year turns differently across the world such as wet seasons and dry seasons, summers and winters or the full gamult of winter, spring, summer or Autumn. We particularly enjoyed how it talks about both flora and fauna and how they fit into their habitat not simply labelling animals. Perfect for adding to shelves for geography and science and for seasonal collections too.
