These are the traditional chinese bowls...Not just for soups! Be aware though that with 11.5 cm diametre these are only half the size of european "soup bowls"!!! In China 4 to 8 different dishes are usually served in these bowls on a tray to make a comlete meal (similar to the indian katoris served on a thali). The seller offers them without the spoons as well. These bowls are good quality for their budget price.

I'd been searching for theses bowls and I found them here. They are of excellent quality and great value for money.They are exactly as I expected. They are dishwasher safe as well.
