Purina Tidy CatsClumping Cat Litter, 4-in-1 Strength Multi Cat Litter - 20 Pound (Pack of 2)

Sorry for the long review but some things need to be explained about this litter. This is very good cat litter. But some people in the question section and reviews has gotten this cat litter confused with the 4 in 1 cat litter that comes in the 35 lb. bucket. I've used the purina tidy cat 4 in 1 in the black and yellow 35 lb. bucket for several years. And it got to where it didn't clump as good and started being more dusty in the last couple of years. I even contacted purina about this and ask them why they had changed it because it didn't work as good anymore. Of course they said they hadn't changed anything about it. But anyway then I noticed awhile back they had came out with this that looked similar but with the words TIDY MAX on it at a higher price. So I know now why the other quit working as good. I bought this and it works like the litter in the bucket used to maybe a little better. It clumps great and isn't as dusty. Just like the litter in the bucket used to work. This is the only cat litter besides the 4 in 1 in the bucket that cat little girl will use besides fresh step. She would rather pee in the floor than use anything else. I didn't like the strong fragrance in fresh step is why I changed to the tidy cat 4 in 1 several years ago. This has a very light pleasant fragrance. The reason I gave this a try is because like I said the litter in the bucket doesn't work as good anymore. So if you want a great cat litter without a strong fragrance and isn't dusty this is a good litter. It also hides odor very good. So I will be using this from now on. I just pour it up in the bucket I had from the regular 4 in 1 because the box is heavy and hard to handle. Also with any cat litter you need to wait a minute or 2 after your baby pees before trying to scoop it out. Because the litter needs a minute, little time to settle into a clump. I noticed some people talking about trying to scoop as soon as their baby is through. Like I said if you will wait a minute after your baby pees the litter will be clumped, hold together a lot better when you scoop it out. I really appreciate Amazon delivery because I'm disabled and can't drive and it's hard for me to wag around this heavy box and my mail man always brings it to my porch for me. So do yourself and your baby a favor and get this great litter. That cat litter is great but I will be getting it some place else. Every month it's late by a day or 2 this time it was over a week there customer service rep Peter was rude couldn't understand why I was mad had to reorder and some strange reason I got it 12 hours later. I feel they should have done more then I'm sorry let me reorder it for you. They didn't even call me today to see if I received it like they said they would.i am really unhappy about the whole deal after being a prime member as long as I have been you would think they would want me happy

As per the title, this is just what you expect and need litter to be. I've seen some people say that this litter gets a sort of sticky, mud-like consistency instead of clumping properly, but I've found that only really happens if the cats pee on top of already clumped pee, which basically just tells me I'm just not scooping enough (with three cats, once a day pretty much keeps this from happening). It generally clumps really well and is easy to scoop up, and only has a small amount of dust to worry about, much less than some other brands I've tried. I have no sense of smell so I can't personally vouch for that, but the people I live with who CAN smell are satisfied with that aspect, especially if I layer in a small scoop or two of baking soda every time I scoop and add more litter, to help absorb any extra smell.One other piece of advice- buy this brand's 35lb bucket of litter at least once, keep the bucket, and then buy this size as refills, and use a small bowl or scoop of some kind to transfer the fresh litter from the bucket into the box. Much easier than hefting these heavy things up to top off the litter box every day!

This is the best litter I’ve used for keeping the smell out of the room! The black label —only place I could find was on Amazon. My mail lady hated me the day of deliver bc it is very heavy. But it works great. Will be sticking with this. I have two cats that use the litter box. One male. One female. (Both fixed fyi) ...please spay and neuter!!! I rescued both of mine. Love my cats!

Love love love this new formula! I have 5 cats and it keeps everyone happy! I do not have to change the litter as often now! Keeps the odor down and low dust. Everyone is happy!Not too lightweight where it gets stuck around the cat’s nose and paws, but just lightweight enough that carrying it up a flight of stairs isn’t the worst!

Cat litter.... a necessary evil. Delivery makes it so much easier on me. I do not have to lug these up the stairs. I swear, the things weigh 4 times what it says on the labels. They leave the factory at one weight, and, by the time you go to haul them up the stairs, they weigh about 5 times more. Or, I could be getting old.

I thought this was the best litter for a long time, because it seemed to be the best you could buy from the local pet store. I started using another litter recently after adding a third cat to our home and immediately noticed how terrible this litter actually was. IT DOES NOT CLUMP if you have a larger cat that makes large urine puddles. It clumped fine for our tiny cat, but we also have two 20+ lb cats that urinate a large amount and the "clumps" just fall apart making ammonia soaked pebbles that cannot be scooped. It does an ok job masking feces odors, but having to replace the entire box of smelly wet litter once or twice a week was not worth it.If you have large cats I would definitely recommend Dr. Elsey's cat litters. You can get them from chewy.com for $9 / 20lb. It clumps hard and tight even on gigantic pees. The cats didn't mind the switch over at all to the new litter from this brand either. It's a better product for your money, three cats and we only change the entire box of litter out once a month (we scoop daily, though).

I personally think this is the best litter that money can buy.Unlike other reveiws, the dust isnt a bother for me in my apartment. And I find the smell fresh especially after dumping the litter box and filling it with all new product.This is the best tidy cat brand in my opinion and I will keep buying it.

With a large container I don’t have to purchase so frequently.

The easy-to-carry, light, and do NOTHING for the smell.
