Brooks Glycerin 18
LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS SHOE!!! I was fitted several years ago with this Brooks brand. As soon as I put these on, they just fit like a glove. They are very durable as well. I've gotten several years out of my last pair. I like these a bit better, because these seem to go with more colors.

Purchase Half Size Up and Wide
As a reference I wear an 11 in Nike AF1’s. I purchased a men’s 11.5 wide and I’m glad that I did, because any smaller they would not have fit. I have just enough flexible space for my toes and still the most narrow shoe I own. Fairly comfortable and not bad looking. Actually the only pair that I liked the look of since most running shoes are incredibly ugly since runners have no swag. Let’s change that.

Very comfortable and fits my narrow foot
My foot is a 2A with 3A or 4A heel. No amount of cinching the laces will keep medium athletic shoes from slipping on my heel. When it came time to replace my very old New Balance running shoes, which I wear for walking, I tried every brand that comes in narrow except Brooks (bc they weren't on sale!). All were too wide in the heel, even a couple of styles of New Balance, which I guess has made their narrow running shoes wider now. I finally ordered this shoe and the Brooks Ghost 13, and they both fit beautifully. The Ghost 13 is a little roomier in the forefoot than the this shoe, but not too loose. I got a 10N in both styles and they fit perfectly and are equally comfortable. The only drawback is that i'm not wild about the color (charcoal w/ blue trim) - they look frumpy on. And at this price, I want shoes that look reasonably contemporary even though I wear a narrow size. (Almost no color selection! Thus the 4 stars instead of 5). For sizing context: I normally wear a 9N in Clarks and Naturalizer, a 9.5N in Lifestride and VanEli, a 9.5N or 10N in Lifestride, and I can't wear Bella Vita, Easy Street, Softspots or Softwalk at all because their narrow shoes are too wide. (& I don't like Monroe.)

Comfortable
So far, I love these shoes and they are comfortable with a roomy toe box, but my worry is how long will they stay firm in helping me with under-pronation and keep me walking straight. I need the best because the wrong shoes literally kill my knees. I am on the heavier side and walk on the outside of my feet and as I get older the strain hits my knees almost immediately with the first few steps. So far with Brooks I haven't had any knee pain and I have been wearing them for a little over a week. I do not use them for running but more like daily sneakers for around the house, walking and shopping etc. They look nicer than most on the market for pronation issues. I bought the white with grey soles. They are a tiny bit snug on the top (not uncomfortable) and I like that because it helps keep my gait firm and any swelling down. I bought my regular size 9.5w. Like I said, my only hope is they last longer than the last pair. If not, I will be forced to try another brand. Maybe Ryka. I have researched and eliminated and running out of options, so fingers crossed for my Brooks Glycerin 18.

Still my favorite shoes
I have narrow heels and wide front feet with very prominent bunions, particularly on my right foot. It is a nightmare to find shoes that won’t squash the life out of it. The fabric of most shoes pulls very tight over the bone and it hurts. Glycerins are, so far, the only shoes that don’t do that. My front foot has room to breath, while still being reasonably stable on my heel with a shoelace ankle lock. The cushioning is also really good. They aren’t hard shoes and I find them very comfortable. I like that they decreased the drop a bit in this version. I would ideally like it to drop. Little more so I am not putting as much weight and pressure on the front of my feet.I usually have to get half a size larger in these shoes than I am usually told when being professionally sized. Because people measure my big toe and they ignore that there is not a great deal of difference in length between my largest and smallest toes. So the way the shoe curves, it would squash my smaller toes. Another item on my wishlist for these shoes is that they would make the front more naturally shaped.Overall great shoes, and I will keep wearing them until I perhaps one day find something better. If that ever happens. Maybe if I could buy completely custom shoes. Glycerins have their problems, but overall they are the best shoes I have found, so five stars.

For Narrow Feet People Only
The quality of the shoe is great. Unfortunately, this shoe was too tight on me. I ordered my usual size 7 but this was a bit too small too. This is made for people with narrow feet and I would order half a size than your normal size.

Superior Support an Comfort!!! Worth Every Penny, Read Why!!
Fabulous!!! Worth every penny!! I tried on 5 other top Brand competitors and nothing was superior as my Brooks Women Glycerin 18!!! The arch support is divine and what I have been searching for and need in a running shoe. The arch support and fit felt as though as we my feet were instantlyaligned and felt like my feet were being gently hugged. The comfort is unrivaled and super cushioned heel that extends along the length of the shoe feels like your body is weightless and almost buoyant above the ground! Interestingly the way it’s designed feels as though you are being propelled forward so walking, power walking or running is effortless.I can’t give there’s runningg shoes enough accolades!! The color is gorgeous almost periwinkle blue. Not too bright just right and my favorite color! I wear a size 71/2 to 8 and the 8 was perfect! I am an 8 in boots and open toed and sandal type shoes a 71/2 and the 8 was perfect!! Don’t skimp and treat your feet they will be happy feet and so will you!

Great fit and support
My third set of Brooks Glycerin shoes. I walk everyday and have found that this shoe supports my foot the best of any shoe I have had in the past 5 years. I usually get 1200 kilometers out of each pair before needing a replacement.

Women’s Brooks Glycerin 18
I’d tried these on in a local running shop and I knew these were what I wanted. The colour is great and they are really comfy, I’ve done a few HIT classes as well as a 5k run and they felt comfortable and cushioned under foot. As confirmed in the local shop you do need to consider going up a size to get a great fit. Would definitely recommend and fast delivery too!!
