This culinary torch is exactly what I have been wanting. I love to make toasted marshmallows for toppings on cakes and cupcakes and this little torch does a fabulous job of putting the right color on the food. I have also used it to melt sugar on creme brulee and other desserts. It is easy to fill with butance and the flame adjustments work quickly. The stand is brilliant, that way a hot tip will not come in contact with a countertop. The product is appropriately packaged for gift giving and arrived quickly after ordering. Very nice quality torch. As with all torches, you need to buy the butane fuel to fill it; it's very easy to fill. It operates by turning the red knob to turn on the gas, then pulling the trigger. It stays on until you shut it off.
