Bachmann Trains Thomas And Friends Emily's Brake Coach

This is a finely manufactured piece of train gear and looks great on my railroad. I could not be more satisfied with the product.

We were very pleased with the brake coach. It is new and made well.

The overall quality of these cars is great. However, the center set if wheels falls out when you pick it up off of the track. I thought it was just one of the coaches that did this but as I opened the packages for the others ( I bought three) they all did it. So, it was not a defect in the item, but appears to be a design flaw. The pins on the axles are not long enough to stay in the groves. Once on the track it seams to operate correctly, but as soon as you pick it up be prepared to grab the center wheels lest they roll away from you and disappear under the train table.

We bought this train for my 4 year old for Christmas. On Christmas Eve we tried to set the train up so it would be running when he woke up the next morning. The train was very hard to set up and we never got more than 2 cars to run with the engine. Any more than that and it quit going around the track. This is more of a hobby train and less of a kid's toy. It also said you need to oil the tracks occasionally and let it run for hours after set up to break it in. We ended up leaving it on all night. Our son was excited about it, but once he realized how hard it was to play with, it's spent a lot of time in his toy box. Actually, he likes to pull the train, without using the tracks, along our hardwood floors, and that works great!

got this as a gift for my friend's children and they loved it.
