I replaced others before and they broken this time I went with metal and it seems to be working out good so far

feels stronger than the cheaper ones. The last 2 handles broke too easy

After replacing my factory driver’s side rear door handle 3 times, I decided to try this “upgraded” version. Each of the plastic factory replacements lasted about a year or so. Bought this one and installed it about a month ago. It’s so much more durable than the plastic style! I’m pretty sure it will outlast the door itself. I even ordered the passenger side handle as well, even though it’s not broken yet. I just love the solid feel of it compared with the factory one! Trust me, don’t even bother with the cheaper ones, just BUY THIS!You can thank me later.*Update March 2024*Over 3 years and they still work perfectly!! No issues at all.HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Seems to be built well and was easy to install.Definitely better than the cheap all plastic. We will have to see about the durability.

Only the actual handle part you grab is metal. The part that gets bolted on to the truck appears to still be plastic, although its pretty tough. Still better than OEM. Super easy install too, just two bolts off and on. 2 min tops.

Replaced broken OEM handle and use it in a daily work truck. Gets lost of us and is very solid. Fit great

I've replaced the orginal part twice before with the plastic part only to have it break again in cold weather ,so far it looks like the all metal part will last ,if so I will replace the passanger side with this item.

I bought a cheap handle 2 pack first. The cheap handle lasted 2 weeks. This handle is much better and has lasted 2 months. I can tell this much heaver handle than first one. Do not waste on other handles!
