I needed to replace my existing device with something a little more rugged but not bulky. After much Internet research I stumbled on the Samsung XCover Pro which met all my requirements. Has it met my expectations? Absolutely! Fast and stable processing, Android 12, security patches, rugged, water proof and programmable buttons too. Most importantly this has a removable battery - great for when operating off-grid!

I had not too many complaints until it died.(It lacks adaptive screen brightness. This means that you have to up the brightness in bright daylight and turn it down when you're forced to use it in the dark.)I was hoping that the enterprise edition would mean extended security updates.Four months after the order data the screen started flickering upon longer finger presses and went black altogether.
