for your DIY project, absolutely this is a great product. Very affordable compared to off-the-shelves brands.would recommend getting the glass frame around the flames coz once the wind blows, the flames go sideways and darkens the steel base

Awesome! Puts out a very nice flame! I put a reducer so that I could use a 3/8 natural gas hose instead of 1/2" which cost more then double for the same length but the flame is still more then capable of reaching 6" which is beyond necessary for us. Very happy. My local glass company made the cutout like they recommended and had no issues with fitment. Fast shipping and prompt answers. Would buy again. Way more cost effective to build something great then to buy some run of the mill plastic firepit

Product is as described. Measures out exactly as description with an over hang to hold in place. I also bought fire glass for the pan which suggested 10 lbs which filled it perfectly. This was the first I built and after I finished I had an order of about 10 more people wanted! Great fire table pan!

The orifus provided doesn't control air flow to get a clean flame. Consequently a dirty flame creates plenty of carbon residue.

Worked out great for my project. I built my own firepit with cement top I custom made to the size of this burner.
