A-Z of Embroidered Flowers

This book is everything you may need for embroidering flowers, and quite a bit more. The step-by-step pictures make it easy to follow even if you are new to the art. The fact that it is spiral bound if very helpful so that you can follow the page while working. A must for all embroidery artists.

I have many A-Z books and the others describe in full detail the step by step procedure on how to create the project. This one mostly shows just the pictures and designs assuming you know how to do the embroidery. For the experienced embroiderer this book may be fine but for a novice, too complicated and not enough know-how. I will keep it on hand in case I get so good at embroidery I will understand the overall design process and than perhaps enjoy it.

More than four stars, but not a total five star book. There’s lovely flowers to embroider or add silk ribbon to embroidery work, selection a little limited. I love the A to Z series, & own several. They are lovely books, but not an encyclopedia of knowledge. There are limitations. That said, I don’t regret my purchase at all. Happy reading/embroidery.
