Our dog injured her front leg. During the healing process, our Vet gave us a sheet of these to try.The pads kept her from slipping on our hardwood floors.The best part was she didn’t bother with them. It helped her keep her footing & yet she didn’t seem to notice them on her paws…

Update: Sticky solution: My vet recommended "Skin-Tac" wipes and this product has really helped the grips stay on for about a week at a time. If they get wet, the grips do fall off but this is an improvement for sure. (I also purchased Uni-Solve remover wipes in case I need to remove them painlessly for any reason.)Original Review: These work wonderfully, for about 2-3 days at a time. I tried to clean my dog's pads with alcohol and stick/press the grips on after the alcohol dried, but they still come off unfortunately, even after trimming the fur between toes and nails. These work so well that I may just put up with it, much more effective than toe grips. For sizing: my dog measures as a M per the chart (1.5"), but they were much too big (I was cutting more than half of the grip off). I would recommend going down a size if you have a small dog who is in between sizes too, because although you can trim them to size, you either trim some of the grippy spots off or you trim right up to the grippy spots, which I think tends to pull the grips off the dog's pads quicker. If you have a larger dog, you will have more wiggle room I think.

I have a 16 yr old arthritic small dog. She has been having a lot of issues with walking on wood floors. I tried Dr. Buzby’s toe grips with little improvement. These pads work great when they stay on. She really moves so much better, but they fall off within 1-2 days, tops. I trimmed hair between her pads. I also tried separating and applying them on each paw pad individually. I think they do better as whole pads. I will order more and just keep replacing them to make what time she has left a little better.

The media could not be loaded.  I have a breed standard male French Bulldog 33 lbs who needs an XL. I'm considering an XXL to make them wrap his foot a bit. Bought L at first and they were too small. Didn't cover his pads enough. I used them anyway as they worked and they're spendy. These only last ONE day per set on my dog. He's a senior (9yr) and not too active. Chases his ball a bit, goes outside 3 to 5 x a day, sleeps most of the time. If it's wet outside the stickers are done for. One or two might make it half the day the next day but they're sliding off if they do. My dog loves these. He fussed at first while applying, but once he made the connection (after about 2 days) that what I'm putting on him gives him control on the slippery floors, he became totally compliant and seems happy when he gets them on. (see video 👀) Although these don't last long, they are totally worth it to my baby to feel secure walking and running. At his age with no cartlidge in his joints with weak hips, I know it reduces his risk of injury while playing and really improves his quality of life! I love this product. I'm very careful pulling them off if an old one is still hanging on so not to hurt his pads. I understand people say to shave between the pads and the stickers will last longer. I believe them. His hair isn't long on his pads but I'm sure it's a factor in them being short lived. Next time I get him groomed I'll have them do that so I get better use of this product. But these are GREAT and I'm on auto ship for these now. Also good for hot pavement! Just keep a good supply on hand. Your dog will love you even more!

I bought these because my dog lost a hind leg and was slipping a lot on hard floors. I had previously bought rubber-coated booties for her remaining back foot, but it’s a pain to take it off every time we go out and put back on every time we come in, which is what I was doing because else her nails cut through them within a week.So I thought these stick-on pads would be better. They DO help her not slip on the hard floors. However, I’ve found that they are peeling off towards the end of the day so I end up replacing them daily. I’ve tried cleaning her foot with soap and water and drying well before application. This made no difference. Then I tried cleaning her paw with an alcohol wipe before application with the same results. The same thing happens whether I separate the toe pieces or not.So while these DO help with slipping, I’d say be prepared to replace them every day. This means if your dog needs one per paw per day, you’re going to go through the whole pack in 12 days. Since my girl is only wearing them on one paw, we get 48 days per pack, which isn’t so bad, but when this pack is gone, I’m going back to the rubber boot.

I was worried when my 17 year old stopped walking around the house. She was afraid of falling. She didn't have the muscle control to give her that extra support on the hard wood floor. I got these pads and once on the dog, it took her about 5 minutes to realize something was different. She walked with more confidence and even jumped back onto the hardwood after going outside. She's prancing around the house again and she even RAN down the hallway! What a game changer. She's back in motion and sooooo happy and confident!LOOKS and EASE - First - they're adorable!!! It took me less than 3 minutes to put them on all 4 paws and it was soooo easy. Once on - they stayed on for a long time...about a week until it rained and then they started to roll around so I removed them and applied new ones. No big deal at all. Taking them off I was a little nervous because they're sticky. I removed them slowly and even cut a piece that was stuck on some fur. Second time I removed them by letting my dog stand in an inch of water that I mixed with coconut oi and they slld off easier. Gave her a quick bath and re-applied. That will be our new system, but see what works for you. LOVE THESE!!!!

These are so helpful for my 13 year old Golden Retriever while visiting family with hardwood floors and stairs. He doesn't slip at all and has a much easier time getting up off the floor. He wears them 12 hours a day, inside and outside, in the heat or rain. They don't stay on perfectly but well enough that I'm happy with them. If a toe part folds together I just cut that part off and they still work great. He does remove the front ones when left unattended for a while but doesn't seem bothered by them. Have gone through 24 days' and am ordering more.

These are extremely sticky and impossible to remove. Soap, oil, I’ve tried them all. Peeling it off hurts the dog, they stay on forever. However they do work really well on hard wood floors. The problem is for long term, dog sweat and need to breathe thru their paws so I don’t recommend wearing it for more than a week even. That being said, I haven’t found any other solutions that work better than this. I have discovered a little trick: cut the bumps out only and stick them on the toes and pads. That way, only a small amount of skin is being blocked and it’s definitely better than covering the whole pad in terms of letting the dog sweat thru its paw pores.

The idea was good but execution failed. We followed the instructions and they started falling off within minutes. We will be returning them.
