ToniesFavorite Tales: Rapunzel & Other Fairy Tales Audio Toy Figurine

I saw that Rapunzel came back in stock so I snatched her up to add to my granddaughters collection. These characters, along with the tonies box are educational and fun and she spends hours listening to stories and songs. I Will definitely buy more to build her collection of stories.

My 4 year old loves it, but I am not too crazy about it. We have other tonies and I was expecting a more crafted set of fairy tales with better sound effects and songs. This Toni has no songs (just introduction music) and the narrator does all of the voices regardless of being female or male characters. However, they do a good job at changing tone and enunciation to make it interesting. Again, I am used to the Cinderella, Frozen, and Ariel tonies; so this one took a bit getting used to. I don’t find the stories are dark like other reviewers. However, this are old fairy tales with somewhat old fashioned views. I don’t regret buying because my daughter loves it, but I would buy other Disney tonies before this one.

I forgot how different and odd these original stories are. Would not recommend purchasing this Tonies.

Tonies are a huge hit with my 4 year old and this one did not disappoint. She loves the classic fairy tales. 4 stars only because $14.99 is a lot for each new Tonie...

Love the tonite figurines. Great idea for kids to be able to play music and hear books independently. Great idea!!
