A healthy, yummy spice, good for lots more than just eggnog
I bought a multipack so I could share it easily. I love nutmeg & have been adding it to my coffee each morning. I read that its volatile oil (which evaporates quickly in pre-ground nutmeg) is a powerful glucose controller, mostly unknown for that benefit. So I wanted whole seeds, & I use a nutmeg grater & grind it fresh into each pot of coffee. I love it. (I'm suspecting that it might also be a powerful appetite suppressant; my own experience since I started using it fresh).
