I just received the privacy screen. Installing it was super easy. Simply clean the screen with the provided cloth, separate the privacy filter from the rigid plastic safety protector, align it to the screen and let go. That's it. Absolutely no bubbles so I don't know what others are talking about when complaining of bubbles. Taking it off is just as easy. Just stick a fingernail under a corner, peel off, place back on the rigid plastic safety protector and place back in the hard cardboard envelope.It works best with the brightness at less than 50%. Higher brightness still blurs typewritten words up to probably 16-18 point which makes them mostly illegible. Lower brightness makes the letters all blend together so they're impossible to read. This all assumes the person is sitting to your left or right or behind the person on your left or right. Those sitting immediately behind you will still be able to look over your shoulder and see the screen which is logical.The privacy filter is a matte finish so the vivid high resolution Surface screen quality is definitely diminished which is too bad. I'd give it a full 5 stars if that wasn't the case. Touchscreen works perfectly so again, I don't know what others are complaining about.

The media could not be loaded.  I’ve attached photos at full brightness from a direct front view sitting in front of my laptop and then from a side view which is what someone walking by would see. I posted a video also showing the screen virtually disappearing when moving from front to side. At 50% brightness or lower, anyone who’s not literally looking over your shoulder would only see a pitch black screen. This is completely removable with ease and you can remove it and reapply it as many times as you need. I keep mine attached 24/7.

I just bought this, and so far it is performing as expected. No bubbles under the film and it holds very well.

When I first put it on my computer screen, there was no privacy but after an hour, there is great privacy. Maybe it needed some time to settle

The media could not be loaded.  I bought this for a college class I’m taking. Our tests are online but in-class and I’m worried about the people next to me cheating. It reduces the glare which I really like plus when I write on it with my surface pen it feels more like paper than before. It does a decent job at hiding my screen when the brightness is at a normal level. However, you can see in the video that it’s almost completely blacked out when the brightness is all the way down. I saw some reviews saying they couldn’t see their screen when they had the brightness down, but I didn’t I have that issue. Also the touch screen works just fine I didn’t notice any changes. If you’re looking for something that isn’t crazy expensive and works well I would recommend.

Came very well packaged on a stiff plastic board that keeps the screen protector's shape in good condition for shipping. Installation took seconds and fit my Surface Pro 7 perfectly without any issues. I've already tried to remove it to see how that would go and it comes off just as easily as it gets put on, yet it's on good enough that you won't worry about it coming off unless you're trying to remove it with some minor effort. Unless every other screen protector I've used for other devices in the past, there are absolutely no bubbles underneath this one at all. The anti-glare is good. Only used it a day so far, but I haven't noticed any glare at all. Will update if I notice that changes. It also works great as a privacy screen protector. You can barely see the outline of major shapes from the sides but you won't be able to see anything easily without staring obviously very hard at the screen. I work in health care and need to protect patient info. I think this will work well for that purpose. Already I've been told by people I work around that they cannot see anything. Regarding fingerprints, yup you'll see them on here. But those can easily be wiped off. You'll see fingerprints on any screen protector you buy. It's unavoidable. Better fingerprints than scratches though. Lastly, I just want to mention that one reviewer stated that people behind him/her could still see what is on the screen. Well... it probably wouldn't be too functional if you couldn't see anything from behind the screen either. Highly recommend this for other surface pro owners who needs a good privacy screen that doubles as a screen protector.

Perfect fit for 13.5 Laptop. Does an excellent job with privacy. Highly recommend it. Easy to install too.

Title says it all, works great for these type of protectors.If you've never used one of these, NONE of privacy protectors will block 100% of the side viewing angle at full brightness. If you really want to block side viewing, you'll have to turn down the brightness. Again, all brands will do this, and will also have a slight dim so keep that in mind.Magnetic so it can easily be taken off and cleaned. Unlike the matte film I just put on, you wont get bubbles at all. That's the reason I bought this, it's removable. If you plan on removing it, have something to keep it clean and flat.Con: Lost a tiny bit of the surface pen 2 pressure sensitivity, but I have a matte film protector under the privacy screen that is probably the issue.

Absolutely did not affect the accuracy with surface pen (as seen in my video) and works great overall. Dims down the brightness a bit but well there’s that trade off for better privacy and less reflection.
