The media could not be loaded.  I wanted something farmhouse, elegant and simple to complete the look for my dining room table and white place mats did the trick. The quality was excellent for the price. Texture was not too thick but thick enough and so far they seem to be very durable.

I love the color. It goes with my placemats, dishes and even my curtains.

These are well made and the color is exactly as depicted in the picture. The texture is strong but not stiff, thick and soft enough to be comfortable to lean your hand on. They're absorbent and thick enough to keep a lightly perspiring glass from discoloring the table. They definitely add quality to our table setting. I haven't washed them yet so don't know how they come out of the washer and dryer.

I wanted a nice cloth placemat and not some PVC material. Something that looks nice on the table and easy to fold and put away. These are very nice. They are good and thick so they don’t feel cheap. The only caveat is that you might want to buy two sets and keep the best out of the two. In the first set I got one placemat was defective. I got a replacement set and one of those is also defective. Not as much as the first one was but still has strings that are not in place.Overall they are really nice. The color stayed vibrant even after washing and I like that they are thick and the same on both sides. No white backside. I put the first set in the dryer but if you don’t get them out immediately they will wrinkle. Just like anything else. So I laid the second set out on my kitchen counter to air dry.They will also shed some in the first wash. To me that’s normal washing for the first time. Not a deal breaker.Get 2 sets, pick your 6 and you’ll not be disappointed.

I just ordered more and noticed the six I use regularly have lasted 9 years and are still in great condition. Machine wash and dry, come out like new, amazing quality. Highly recommend.

It is difficult to find a nice quality 100% cotton napkin that holds up to daily use without the tediousness of needing to be ironed after every wash.This variegated weave cotton napkin is absolutely perfect. The weave is on the looser side, which pretty much prevents wrinkles and creases . . . no ironing needed!I take them right out of the dryer and fold them right away. The finish is not linen-crisp, but rather soft and casual. The corners do tend to curl up a bit, but I take care of that by folding them and stacking them with the curled corners laying flat. They do iron well, if you have the time, but for our everyday use, their casual softness right out of the dryer is just fine.We've been using cloth napkins for our everyday use for several years now. It saves waste of paper napkins and I personally like the feel of cloth over paper in general. Barring an unusually messy meal, we each use our same napkins for a week.Another reason I like this particular brand of linens, is that this same variegated weave napkin comes in several complementary colors. I purchased this taupe set along with a set of the olivine and they go very nicely together. I was also able to find a couple sets of striped napkins elsewhere that coordinate perfectly.This way, your place settings still look pretty and coordinated, while each person in the household can have their own color of napkin to avoid mix-ups.Highly recommend these napkins, and also recommend transitioning from paper napkins to cloth for everyday use.

I have these placemats in the off-white color: they've worn very well and the quality was very good. The weave on the off-white mats is not the variegated pattern as shown, but is the pattern shown on the off-white table runner. These worked out well, I recently ordered 12 mats in the olive green color with variegated threads. They arrived iquickly in two packs of six. Placemats are folded north to south in both packs, but one pack has fading along the fold lines. Although a plate covers most of it, but this was disappointing. The fading at the fold mark does not wash out. Both packs of mats show loose threads or threads that have formed small loops, making the weaving look sloppy here and there. Order with caution.

I ordered these in the orange (burnt) and yellow (apricot) to highlight my dishes. I love these colors as they are happy colors. They have a nice feel and when it comes time to wash, it will be on a delicate cycle and maybe in a laundry bag. I've had more success washing items like this so the fringe doesn't get mucked up. I've recycled all my other placemats when these came. Happy!!!

Not quite the colour I was looking for. Ended up returning as the first and only one I pulled out of the bag had two pulls in the weave.
