Mostly works but has some rough edges
The overall build quality is very nice, and it fit nicely on my desk. However, it doesn't work perfectly. The main issues are (1) doesn't detect all resolutions without a power cycle (2) switching is a bit awkward and (3) the red status lights on the front are very bright. When it's first turned on, it won't support 2560x1440 resolution. If the power cable to the KVM is pulled out and plugged in again, it will then work. The PC seems to detect it as a device called MMX initially which doesn't list 2560x1440 as a supported resolution. When you power cycle it, the PC suddenly detects the monitor correctly.Switching is a bit awkward. The remote control is very basic and only works in a direct line of sight. The switch button on the front of the KVM is not easy to find by touch - and it's easy to push the KVM across the desk when you push it.Finally, the red lights on the front are quite blinding, so I would have put some tape over them if I'd kept it. On balance, a KVM that needs me to plug and unplug cables all the time went against the whole reason I'd bought it in the first place, so returned.

KVM with remote control and HDMI
Hdmi, remote controlled KVM. Simple to setup. Supports a USB hub on the front (along with keyboard/mouse) on a USB3.0 interface. Also single HDMI output to your monitor. Then single USB33.0 to each machine and hdmi to each machine.I’m using it to switch between a company provided laptop, and my Mac mini. Works very well and I’m able to keep the kvm (and the inevitable cables) under the desk - when I want to switch devices I just press the wireless/IR remote and it switched over.Because the kvm supports a hub, it switches over not just my keyboard and mouse, but a label printer, my senheisser headset/headphones a usb storage device and a usb card reader. All seamlessly. One of the more expensive kvms but worth it in my opinion. It has audio out (3.5mm) but I’ve not figured out how to switch that yet although I’ve not read instructions at all - whole setup was easy enough to do without.

More expensive, but worth it if you need HDMI 2.0 or USB 3
I bought this to help me "dock" my work laptop at the desk where I keep my desktop pc, so I could use the laptop with a big screen and my pc peripherals. This is significantly more expensive than devices with similar functions on Amazon, but I didn't opt for the cheaper alternatives for two reasons:1) I wanted a switch with USB 3 because this would allow me to connect a usb hub with webcam, flash drives etc. and use them at at full quality / speed.2) I play video games at 1440p on my desktop, so I wanted hdmi 2.0 support to ensure the HDMI connector on the switch doesn't become a bottleneck.I've been using it for 2 weeks and it works well. I've noticed no difference to the visual quality of my PC's output and I can easily switch between the PC and my work laptop with the remote (though sometimes I have to switch back and forth a couple of times - which I think is a monitor issue). It's also been useful to have headphone and microphone jack inputs in the switch, which I didn't think about when I ordered it, because it's saved me from buying a usb soundcard. After purchasing I found connecting and disconnecting all the cables to my laptop annoying, so I routed the usb & hdmi cables connecting the switch to my work laptop through a usb C hub (to which I've also attached the power lead), so I can dis- or re- connect the laptop to my screen and peripherals using a single cable. I highly recommend doing this if you're in a similar situation to me and like to occasionally work in bed or on the sofa.

Faied after a few hours
So I did write a glowing review for this device, however after a few hours it had stopped working. USB worked fine, however video would not go through any more. I tried a variety of different (both new and old) HDMI cables, one gave a maximum of something like 1024x768, but I just couldn't get the 4k as sold.I liked the device, it had promise (ignoring the cheaply built remote for it), alas, like most Chinese goods, it's being sent back for a refund

As described, but remote is weak
Works ok, as described, no issues with both inputs (PCs) at 4K60Hz. I had 2 wireless keyboards/mice and now can control both PCs with only one keyboard/mouse. Output connected to LG OLED65C8. I was pleasantly surprised to see mounting brackets included, used them to mount this switch to my TV table in an inconspicuous way, I/O status LEDs are very bright and distracting so I just put a piece of black electrical tape over them - problem solved! One small issue, the remote of this KVM switch is rather weak, only works in a clear line of sight, won't even signal over a coffee table, probably an infrared sensor, sad to see such an ancient piece of tech in an £80 KVM switch, in 2021.

Surprisingly good
Excellent KVM - I can now connect my two laptops to a 4k Dell monitor, wireless keyboard/mouse + audio interface + midi keyboard. It also supports a mic and a stereo output, but I have not tested it. I had doubts when I bought this device because I returned two units previously bought as they do not support wireless mouse/keyboard and do not support 4k @60Hzh. The only problem is that the KVM sometimes needs to be reset, which isn't a big deal for me given the other good options.

It sort of works - but then doesn't.
This device has some issues.. If your restart your PC it seems to screw up and needs a power cycle.. (Remove power supply) Switching HDMI does not always work - The USB also seems buggy.. sometimes does not connect when switching. Sadly, I would not recommend.. It's a really cool device (when it works) so I hope they release some firmware or something to fix it in the future.

Does exactly what I wanted it to
Working from home as an IT teacher has been a bit of a pain, not having the tools to show students in the classroom has its limitations, but since installing an Elgato capture card and coupling it with this KVM at least I can now show them things like the BIOS along with boot sequences
