Sturdy. Easy to master, works out the muscles
Well. I’m not saying it’s easy to put together on your own, especially when you aren’t mechanical minded!! But it’s not hard. The instructions could be a little clearer with regard to the bolts, but with the different lengths, you can figure it out.It doesn’t fold down as low as I thought it did from the ads, but it’ll fit in a corner. So eagerly put this together. Spent 5 minutes figuring out how to get on without face planting. The exercise itself is easy. Push with your legs, pull with your arms in like a reverse squat and variations. What isn’t easy, is the effort !! My god. It looks SO easy. It’s not. The muscles are really working hard which is excellent!!You can feel it in your tummy, arms and back.Having a weakness in my lower back, this is great. You can feel the muscles working. It’s not so hard that you feel like death the following day, but you can feel that you’ve done a workout. It feels stable when working out. Doesn’t feel like it will tip or wobble. The seat is at a bit of a tipped back angle when at the “rest” position, but, that actually makes you use muscles to hold Yourself, while resting. So in all, for £99, it’s like a multigym, sit ups and weights in one. Using your own body weight as the weights.I’m impressed. Very impressed. The workout doesn’t take long, and it feels like it’s actually doing something

Easy to use but feels like a workout
I broke my knee in the spring and needed an easy but effective exercise regime that would fit with my lifestyle, which is super-busy. I know walking is the answer, but I don't have time and also, winter is drawing on. I saw this mentioned online and thought I would give it a go. I looked at all the reviews and although some were negative, they didn't seem that informed, so I bought one. Sadly, it came with a broken adjustment screw for the saddle, but that was quickly replaced. It was relatively easy to put together, with two of us. The instructions were pretty clear and as there is only a 'right' way to do it, there were no backtracks. I saw in some reviews talk of not being able to pack it flat for storage out of the way and I really don't understand that. Someone said they had to remove screws - just spin the leg round and it hides behind a door. It really couldn't be simpler. As to the exercise - it is easy to get on, just straddle the saddle, hold the handlebars then put one foot on the pedals, followed by the second foot. You aren't 'committed' until that second foot is put on and at that point, you just need to press down with the feet and pull on the handles and you're away. You can really feel it working. At the moment, I am in the easy mode and doing it for x amount of reps, increasing daily. The harder stage is for when I'm ready. The real plus for me is that my husband also uses it and he is really against 'planned' exercise, getting far more from normal life than I do. This is a good price and a good product. Recommended.

Could be better, but not awful
Only received this today, but first impressions are likely to be lasting. It’s not as badly made as some reviewers have suggested, though the "Crunch" in the title presumably refers to the noise it makes when you sit on it for the first time. I honestly thought the seat was about to disintegrate, though after 20 minutes’ use its still in one piece. It's not difficult to put together. Use the washers when fitting the bolts and avoid over tightening or you'll warp the frame, especially if, like me you used a socket set rather than the spanners supplied. As with any self assembly item, lay it on the floor before you start and familiarise yourself with the assembly process. Where assembly calls for three bolts in one position, fit all three hand tight before applying a spanner, otherwise you may find at least one of the bolts impossible to secure. I'm 67, looking for gentle exercise rather than a machine I can hammer in a quest for Arnie-like proportions, and I'm a shade over 13 and a half stone. Despite those modest requirements the machine felt close to its maximum load whilst I was using it, so if you're much heavier than I am, it might be best to go for something a bit more sturdy if you don't want to end up on the floor in a heap of twisted metal. To summarise, it will provide a decent aerobic workout if used properly and with caution, but if this is the only strength training you do, you're never likely to be tearing any telephone books in half.

I was surprised - It is good value for money and perfect for beginers
If you have limited space but want the facility to have some kind of a lower body workout then this represents great VFM. It is well built, pretty easy to put together (took me less than an hour) not actually that heavy so is suitable for people living in flats and folds away. Sure it isn't a complete workout system by any means and is maybe more suitable for starters than serious gym bunny's but if you had this and say, an exercise bike, you'd get a pretty decent workout without breaking the bank. Unlike some home gym equipment this feels pretty solid and isn't going to snap. At under £100 it represents two or three months of gym membership fees so you can't really go wrong with it. It will also be useful to have when the weather turns bad and you don't fancy going out . Sure it's limited in that there's only about six ways you can use it so it won't give you an all round workout and it seems to be aimed primarily at exercising thighs and calves but for a piece of home gym equipment it is certainly one of the better and more affordable pieces of kit you can buy.

quite easy to use
We bought this to use for exercise after lockdown, we are both retired and it is something we can both use. It was a bit of a nightmare putting it together and the exercise sheet is quite good although feel it could be simpler.

Great for full body workout
Easy to assemble, easy to use (but hard work!) and I’m already feeling the benefits after three weeks. Don’t use it every day, especially if you’re new to this type of exercise, best maybe 3 times per week
