I’ve been using these sticks for years. They are a good stiff oak wood. Provides a great field rest in a hurry.

Built pretty nice, i prefer sitting my gun on top but it’s much less stable , but if you have decent arm strength getting your scope completely still with this stick will be easy. Recommend

This is a basic set of shooting sticks. Nothing fancy, but attractive and effective. Hope they come back in stock.

I purchased this to replace a rest that was the collapsible tent pole style. It had a rubber rest on the top, but with my rifles the rest would slide down the carbon fiber poles. I attempted to glue them to keep them from sliding down but in colder weather the glue didn't hold. I decided to go back to the basics and I'm not looking back.This rest is simple, and it works. It's literally two pieces of wood with measuring marks on them, held together with a nut and bolt with rubber on the top. If this thing doesn't work its going to be operator error. I liked it so much I bought one for a friend. Two of these cost less than half of one of the other style rests.

This is a cheap product designed to be a good product. It obviously had some thought put into it, the features are good, the build is ok, and the usability is ok. This clamps securely to the barrel of the shotgun....Will stay in place while not in use, and is a little flimsy at staying in place when in use. To fix this I will probably use a different thumb screw that I can tighten with my arthritic hands.The feet are spring loaded and a bit flimsy, thankfully in storage position they are inside the tube and protected.The snap ring that holds the leg up to the barrel is a bit heavy duty in that its noisey and hard to engage. On that same not I'm not worried about this thing coming loose.

Had a prior set that broke when I ran over it after getting a deer with it last season. Got a replacement for it this season and a couple weeks after getting it the season opened and I got another buck. This is a great product and is easy to transport, hike in, set up, and use. Super stable and a great addition to the kit.

I disliked the pod clamps. Would not hold adjusted height. Returned item as defective. Got charged $3 at UPS Store to package item for Return, because I threw away original box. Keep your original container or you will be paying extra for the junk you bought if you have to return it. Check everthing on the Pod to make sure everything works before installing on gun. I should have isent item back for a Refund but had another delivered to me. Also, there is a contradiction in the assembly instructions between 12 and 20 gauge rubber spacer. The V-pod does hold the gun steady if the adjustment clamps are working. I have a LAZY LEG monopod that has been attached to my gun for the past 15 years but does not have the height or steadiness the V-Pod has. Too bad my first one and second one was defective; I might have given a rating of 4. The second replacement that holds the bipod snug against the barrel broke on the very first time out as I was setting up for the first day of turkey season. I recomment staying away from the V-Pod.

So I finally got to try it out this morning. Knee deep snow, frozen marsh/field.. I was concerned it would just sink in as I rested the rifle in the cradle. But it didn't! First it saved my bacon a few times trying to get to my optimal spot, on the occasion I lost footing it was an excellent short walking stick, and when I sat and set the sticks for the shot, it was very stable and easily adjustable to find a comfortable position. I ended up tying a piece of paracord around one of the legs near the bottom so the two sticks wouldn't clap while I was walking. Very good purchase.

Extremley easy and quick to use. They are simple to set up and dont freeze. The thick rubber saddle holds rifles very steady due to its cushioning. Totally reccomend for the predator hunter! And find yourself a nice seat, you'll be able to make any shot.
