Good quality, not the strongest but for light duty it's OK.

Simple to install, practical and useful

Just 6 screws (included) in order to install. I did need a drill for my PVC door frame.Is made of a light metal, aluminium I think, which feels flimsy when handling but once installed is plenty strong enough.I bought the back of two bolts because I have a front door and a porch door, but I could only install on one door - the door and door frame must be flush for the bolt to fit, there's no adapters for if the door frame protrudes as many do.

Cheap and flimsy . The saying is you get what you pay for these were cheap and the build is cheap

I love Amazon and what it offers online, but sometimes you just have to feel and examine a product before you buy. Such is the case with these bolts. They look good on the computer screen but upon arrival, it is a different storey.While they appear solid and cast, they are made of poor-quality stainless steel sheeting and the two parts are just held together by bent tabs. The edges are sharp and not very rugged.Follow up: I decided to use them anyway, and soon wished I hadn't. When screwed into place the pressure of the mounting screws deformed the stamped metal to the extent that the slider would not fit into the reciever and the sliding bolt needed to be tapped to get it to move. I predrilled holes and inserted the screws by hand - no heavy equipment or a massive electric drill! That's all it took to bend the metal form. I removed the pieces and tossed them leaving me with 6 screw holes in my cabinet.IMHO: Forget about it!

I liked the look, but did not look close enough to realize that these are not made of thick metal. They are made in a way that uses thinner gauge to make it look like thicker gauge. Expensive for what they are.

These latches are advertised as heavy duty and therefore I expected them to be solid metal (think outside door hinge). Instead, they are thin, stamped metal (think jar lid) shaped to look solid. Fortunately, they were adequate for my application but I would not buy these again.

Lorsque j'ai débalé l'article, je me aperçu qu'il y avait des arrêtes vive sur la barrure glissante. Il a fallu que j'utilise une lime pour rendre celle-ci sécuritaire car elle est utilisé pour un emplacement ou il y a des enfants.
