Great for Alternate use, too
Edit: have had it for two season and still love it. Material held up very well, maybe even Perfectly.I'm happier with this top/cover than I am with my car!We didn't buy this to protect our top. We bought it to cover our boxster when it gets left, open, in the baking sun all day with the top down.Rather than wearing out the convertible mechanism... and because we don't really love the lines of the car when the top is up, we cover it and leave the top down.Water WILL POOL if there's a big downpour, and it shouldn't be expected to protect you from rain, however, it's perfect for keeping out leaves, dust, bird droppings, and light drizzle and especially Sun.We are handy. We considered sewing one ourselves. At this price, it was well worth the purchase for the materials and all the R&D. Maybe next season we'll add some structure to hold it up against (more) rain.It looks great and it fits great. It's well thought out and very well made of quality material at a good price.

I bought black and it turned grey in 2 months
I specifically bought a BLACK cover to go with my BLACK car. After only 2 months the sun bleached this thing out to be silver grey. I am very upset with the quality. I will be added a picture if not contacted in 72 hours.
