So the first thing I did was purchase and apply two coats of polyurethane to help prevent warping due to moisture as I installed all four shelves in my bathroom.The shelves are made of a soft wood - possibly pine. The Poly coat brought out the grain of the wood nicely.Tools I used to install-Power drillDrill bitScrew bitRubber mallet - to tap in the anchors for the screws.LevelI installed these by myself with interruptions over the course of two days - without the interruptions - this could take 1.5 hrs or less with two people.I am pleased and they hold the items - cleaning supplies, TP and supplement bottles with ease.

The items came in the next day after I ordered. Its Rod iron and thin wood. The wood does have splinters as its not treated with any sealant. The rod iron is not level on one of them, just a tad bent, I needed to bend it to match the other side myself. Which wasn't a huge deal. We took a sander to the edges of the wood and I bent the rod iron. For $18, for an item you can't find in stores, its good and I love them. I hate traditional bathroom towel rods.

Love these shelves! They are perfect for my small bathroom. I searched & searched everywhere & these had the best reviews & were the most affordable I could find that still looked fab. There was no damage to the shelves when I received them. The color of the shelves is the natural wood shade I was looking for. I chose not to install the towel bar because I didn’t want the water from hand washing to fall on the toilet paper. I may install later on. I definitely recommend these shelves! I love them!

I like the product, I don't plan to return it. But it's not worth $18 for two. It is the best value I found for the dimensions I wanted considering amazon products keep getting more expensive, but it wasn't my first choice. The shelves I liked better were too big for where I wanted to put them though. The wood was pretty dinged up on the bottom and each piece of metal was bent, but it seemed like the wood was treated so we'll see how long it lasts with the humidity in my bathroom. It looks fine on the wall, but as you read in other reviews it usually slants downward and you need a power drill to install it.

Nice shelves for the price. They’re a little uneven, but not too noticeable. They’re pretty lightweight which makes me feel better about putting a bit of weight on them. I used mine as spice racks, and they’re nice and wide so I can fit many spices.

Receive the product and the metal bar on one was a little lopsided. Husband installed in our bathroom and you can't really tell. Overall, they look decent and I'm happy with them.

These shelves look sleek and hold a good amount of beauty products so I can keep them off the counter! I love the added towel rack since I didn’t have a towel holder on my side of the Jack and Jill sinks.
