We bought this for our son and he loves it every time we turn it on. He loves to look at the train going around. This was a little complicated to install because it took some time and it is loud. But other than that, I would say its a pretty good fit to the tree.

The train set is pretty well made with the fancy water mist to spew out like smoke and the passenger compartment has lights. It goes full round oval track or figure 8. Wonderful to keep and look at like a moving decoration. Only thing not so good are the cardboard decoration cutouts , they don't stand well.

Two thoughts about this toy: it was an absolutely adorable accent to my already strange tree, and what a hunk of plastic junk...To explain, I actually loved it on my tree and got some compliments on it, but I guess to be light enough to hang mid-tree it has to be totally hollow plastic. I mean that this thing is so fragile I thought I would break it in both assembly and disassembly so I worked it really slowly. I also never turned it on because I was afraid that if it fell it would shatter... It even comes with extra parts as if it knows it's going to break.But again, I still loved it and plan to put it up again next year for as long as it holds together. I just wish it was a little more durable.

It looks great in the tree but took a minute to in the tree correctly. Only wish it was a way to turn down or off the sound, can be a little loud at times

Feedback at 5 months:--------------------------After a few months of break, the engine does not work, looks like the motor is hosed. This feels like a bad investment that did not last much. I wish this did not break easily.Feedback at 1 month:--------------------------1. My son loves the direction-changing ability on the tracks, the steam option, and the turning off volume feature.2. The material used could be a lot stronger, but after 2 months of use, i do not feel as bad about sturdiness.3. Battery does not drain quickly, so works for many many runs.Nice to have:1. Faster and slower train movement options would be lovely.2. The trees/people/tunnel cutouts are not as effective and instead could have had a single sturdier tunnel.

I bought this little train for my nephew since my brother is a train engineer. I bought it early for Christmas and just opened it today to put it around the tree. I am so incredibly disappointed! The train doesn't work...at all!! I tried multiple sets of batterys, it's definitely plugged in and on but nothing happens. It is just useless. And it is cheaply made since the pieces easily fall off and break off. I do NOT recommend buying this train. Spend your money elsewhere for a better quality product that will actually work.

The directions are horrible and it took awhile to figure out how to put together. It's also quite loud. BUT... The kids love it and it's to high up the tree that the toddler can't reach it making it perfect. It's also quite cute. Definitely glad I purchased it.

We bought this for our 4 year old grandson. He absolutely LOVES it!! It is very sturdy and the only thing to assemble were the tracks.It is noisy with the horn blowing; however we put a piece of packing tape over the area where the sound comes from and it muffled it somewhat.We highly recommend this train for any child; snd it is very affordable!
