I just recently started doing my own nails to save money. I purchased this kit because of the great reviews and because it was fairly inexpensive. I love the fact it comes with the uv light as well!! It’s not fancy but it does the job.The polish itself was amazing!! Goes on with ease and easy to control. I would definitely recommend this product.

I was really impressed with the quality of this kit for the money. I have gone back to gel after nearly ruining my nails at salons as they use electric files and burn up my nail beds, my last visit was the last straw as i feel they just dont take care and realize theres a human attachednto those finders and drilling a nail file into the nail bed burns and hurts you! Hello... They are thin and brittle right now and I came across a utube channel for a batural salon that recommended gel to protect the nail while your nails grow out 6-8 week and allow them to heal. I have a really bad nail biting habit and when they grow out they tendtoo break. I have had mixed feelings about gel in the past but I thought this polish went on evenly and cured well with the light. I also thought the color was true to the description and so far hasn't chipped. I work in physical therapy and wash my hands a million times a day and use oil based lotions so I will be testing out and update my review. Great color selection and the kit came with many higher quality tools. I also LOVED the buffer file that came with, was perfect on my natural nails that are very thin and fragile right now...will be ordering more colors if this polish lasts more than a week. The only thing this kit didn't include was a primer which in my experience is a must on natural nails to get your base to stick. I didn't use the base or top coats included so I can't speak to their quality I like to use the venalisa brand because it doesn't scratch like others I've used, but based on the quality of the color I'm open to trying the beetle brand that came in the kit. It feels a little thicker but will go on evenly, just do two coats and make sure your first coat is thinner. Base coats should also be thin so they completely dry before adding the next layer of polish.

I was looking at trying out Gel polish when I came across this set. The price is very good, considering that just the curing lights can cost a ton on their own! I did read the reviews on Amazon before purchasing, as well as a couple of YouTube videos using the set. The light is perfect, and doesn't get too hot. It has pre-set timers on it so that you can determine what works best for you. I've tried most of the colors so far. My favorite is the dark purple--it's very pretty. But it is also rather sheer. I needed to do three coats to get some kind of opacity on the colors. For the lighter colors, I'd recommend using a white layer after the base coat, which will help make the light colors more visible (orange, yellow). I have enjoyed experimenting with this kit, and I've since invested in more accessories and nail colors, so...it's addicting. What I love is that the gel hardens/cures so quickly--I would use regular nail polish on my nails in the early afternoon, and they'd seem cured by bedtime, but when I'd wake up in the morning, I'd have ridges from my sheets all over them. With the gel, they stay shiny, smudge-free and line-free until you take it off. The kit also includes a matte top coat, which I have tried once on one nail. I can see how it could be effective in the future. The accessories are useful and I've used most of them, except the toe spreader thingies, as I don't do my toes (can't really reach them comfortably--I'm a bit too well-rounded!).The dotting tool head is small, so if you are into decorated nails, you might want to get a larger one for variety. The tweezers are great, very precise. I had some difficulty getting the leaves to stick properly, but I think that was mostly user error. The striping tape is cool, but it doesn't stick the way I thought it would, so I need to experiment more with it. I did not like the green color...it reminded me of boogers when I used it on my whole nail...best to use as an accent color. Autumn is my favorite season, so I really like the rest of the colors. So... I recommend this as a good price for an entry-level start in gel nails. The polish bottles are small, but this is kind of a sampler kit. I've bought other polishes from Beetles, and they are full-sized. The small sizes are not so small you can't do a full set of nails--you can do more than one set. I like to do one or two different-colored nails on a set, and for Halloween, I've used multiple colors to make a pumpkin nail, candy corn nail, etc. Have fun with this set!

I LOVE the gel polishes! They are pigmented and not watery at all, the tools they give you are very helpful for the prep process and clean up. I have tried other brands kits and this is by far my favorite. It’s worth the money!

Box came neatly and safely packed together. Packaging itself was very beautiful.Product itself is wonderful for beginners learning to use gel nails. (My first time!) I'm a little tight on cash and love going to the salon to get the nails done, but going every other week for maintenance is ridiculous to me. I usual use regular polish, but it flakes and chips off in 2 or 3 days, and my nails are so fragile they usually break and I end up tearing my nail off. I wanted to try gel nails (no extensions) to see if the they would last longer and help strengthen my actual nails.The kit came with directions to apply the multiple coats (which I did reference often) but I also ended up looking on Youtube for directions as well. (Which, Beetles does have an official video on how to apply gel nails).The kit I purchased did come with a pair or pretty fingerless gloves, but I ended up not using them because of my tiny hands. They just ended up getting in the way. From my research as a gel nail newbie, I did have to separately purchase a nail dehydrator as the kit did not come with it(it helps your gel adhere to your nails and makes it last longer). Not a big deal.The polish colors were all beautiful! I can't wait to try them all. My favorite thins were the little charms that came with the kit. Gemstones, pearls, rosesband flowers in varying sizes.All in all, if you're a beginner too, this kit is a great place to start. You'll need practice for sure, but practice makes perfect!

I absolutely love this gel kit. This is my first time ever using gel polish and there is everything you need as a beginner and more. The kit even comes with gloves to protect from uv damage and the lamp itself does the job well! I especially love all the cuticle tools. I already have quite long nails so the polish just helps to protect them more. Couldn’t recommend more! 🫶

Comes with everything you need except the nails it self. Good quality for someone starting out on her own nails. Excellent value

I love it all except the uv lamp was a lot smaller than I expected. My fingers and toes just fit so it’s all good.
