Splitting Axe for Loads of Wood Fast
Been using this for over a year now. Split over two cords of Oak - dry and fresh with it. The head is uniquely designed to cut and split Oak with ease. The lighter head lets you generate a lot of speed so the wood just splits without even trying. I've used bungee cords to wrap around wood and that works well too - just pack the wood together and start chopping. The cords keep the wood upright so you can chop up the wood with little fanfare. The handle could be a little longer - but you just have to be smart how you use it. The orange on the handle makes for an easier time finding it on the ground. The storage and protector works well and hasn't failed yet. It keeps a keen edge and doesn't need sharpening that often. I left it out one night and it will rust if you don't watch it. Cleaned it up and coat with oil when not in use. Excellent product.

Cuts through Logs like a knife through butter
I recently had a tree chopped down in my garden and i asked the wife to get the tree surgeon to leave us some firewood. Imagine my horror to come home from work to find half a tree in my garden. Fortunately they were already chopped into sizeable/workeable chunks. My dilemma now was how was i going to chop these? I decided i didn't need a chainsaw, also the tree surgeon pretty much told the wife they're too dangerous, you need special chainsaw trousers. Also i would never need a chainsaw again.I decided my best option was an axe or a maul. I searched/watched countless reviews and youtube clips and i decided on this axe. I was a little sceptical at first.Anyway it turned up and i was very impressed with how it was made and how it handled. It didn't seem too heavy. Chopping wood was so much fun. It cut through chunks of the tree trunk that were approx 13-14inches in diameter and the same measurement high. Usually took a few good whacks to split the wood. With this axe it is all about technique. Look on youtube to get an idea. I wouldn't recommend it to cut branches. It wouldn't do this. For the trunk it is more than suitable.I spent a good couple of days chopping wood. Probably 8hours in total. Was so much fun and makes you feel like a real man. LOLOverall very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking to buy a decent axe.

Buena herramienta
