After trying many of the clear capsules, these have been the best. The Veggie capsules do not seem to work well, nor the clear gelatin capsules in my capsule making device. These colored caps have worked consistently great.

These chlorophyll gelatin capsules are easy to use, easy to swallow, and they snap closed. The green color is very dark, which helps protect the powder contents from sunlight degradation. It seems that the chlorophyll caps are the only ones with plant-based natural dye; the other colored capsules are dyed unnaturally.It says that the quantity is estimated by weight, which means there's a possibility that there aren't actually 1,000 caps in this bag, but I don't have the patience to count each one. The capsules are durable, and not overly dry or inflexible where they'd get torn easily (I've had that happen before). However, the bag isn't the most durable, and perhaps not totally airtight, so by the end, the caps can dry up a bit.I use these capsules to encapsulate my various herbal health supplements. The only issue I have is that the powder sticks to the slick outside surface like magnets and it's hard to get a clean look. The powder can be seen easily in the center seam and on the outside. In contrast to the dark green, the powder particles stick out like a sore thumb. I think I'll go back to clear capsules. But the quality and value are good.

Clear caps with green small end. I have a Capsule Machine unit for 00 that lets me fill 24 capsules at a time. These fit very nicely in that unit. Easy to open, click securely closed when full. Happy to purchase this brand again. Nice to have the option of more than just clear capsules if I want to use to identify my own different uses.I am currently using these for dry herbal mix, but want to add coconut oil distillations as well and these should work just fine. Reading through instructions and feedback a couple of tips is if filling with liquid make sure its cool as if trying to fill with warm oil will deteriorate the capsule. Another suggestion was to store liquid or oil filled caps in refrigerator. I've also seen the suggestion to keep filled caps, even with dry herbs, in cool, dry place out of direct light. I've started putting mine in ziplock bags with a food safe desiccant pack in a brown paper bag to keep out of light. Supposedly helps keep things fresh longer, but I haven't been using this stuff long enough to really see any difference. That being said, doesn't hurt to do a bit extra considering the time and effort I put into making my own capsules. Certainly more economical to get these empty capsules and know exactly what's in them.Saw a complaint wishing the tops and bottoms came in separate bags, but they are pretty easy to open. A great suggestion I found IF you are using a capsule filling machine of any kind, it's easy to put the small, top end of your capsule into the tray which holds it, then twist the bigger end to separate. I didn't really have an issue with pulling caps apart, but I find I don't have to juggle with them quite as much when starting with the top in the tray to begin with. Happy capsule filling!

Good product and easy too use color is good ...

I make custom herbal solutions for my customers. To be on the safe side, I've always used clear veggie caps, but I've been marketing a solution called "Black Healers" so I bought some gel bovine gel caps to give the caps more marketability. JIT I got an order for some Black Healers and tried the new caps. First of all, they're not Black! they are really dark green, but that is not important, my concern was the quality, the snap, and hold of the caps, and if they fit in the cap filler. these caps won me over! I'll be buying more of these on the next purchase.

I bought both the pink and blue capsules. The pink capsules hardly squeeze into my 00 capsule machine and do not press together well, causing me to lose half of them. The blue capsules same size are very loose in my capsule machine and crack and break when I press them together again losing half of what I make. I’m not very happy with this brand and will not order again. I am very disappointed!
