A brilliant live recording. Bowie playing the music he wants to. .
A brilliant live recording. Bowie clearly enjoying performing songs he wants to with skilled musicians. Definitely one of the best live recordings!!!

Fitting end for Bowie's UK tour
Bowie's final engagement for the year, featuring the complete recording of all ten songs performed. Four of which were used for TV broadcast and it would appear he had already decided which songs these would be. This is a good recording, although the sound mix is somewhat dry and tempered down a little. He'd already appeared on Later with Jools Holland two weeks before, so whatever the ploy for him to appear on this 'Yoof' fest TV show performing 'The Voyeur Of Utter Destruction (As Beauty) remains unclear.

Superb CD
I'll be short and sweet. This is an excellent CD. First and foremost, it's as good a quality as any official release. Secondly, it's got some tunes you wouldn't expect to hear - I mean, tracks from Outside, two from Lodger, and Under Pressure?!?! Thirdly, this was recorded for a TV show, and they included the chat between the stage manager and Bowie as things broke down, or they had to wait - it's like being there. All in all I can't say this is "essential", but if you're in the mood for a Bowie that is calm, casual even, and some fine performances from the band that sound great, then you've found it. Brilliant.

Unnecessary
I bought this for the version of ‘Boys keep Swinging’. Yes, that’s fine, but in truth the rest of the recording is totally unnecessary as there are other official live recordings of all the other songs. Would have preferred to download the one track, rather than buy the disc.

100% Must Purchase.
Soundboard recording from the Channel 4 show In The White Room. 9/10 for SQ which means it’s near enough to official release quality. It is a little bit bass heavy and dry sounding but soundboard recordings often are however if like me your ok with a bit of bass then it’s perfectly fine. Great cover artwork, front, back, and inside. If your a David Bowie fanatic then this is a no brainier purchase. A great historical record of a performance Bowie did for a tv music show from the mid 90s which showcases a golden period of David Bowie post 70s.

Sound quality is pretty good for a TV show
Bowie is in great form and the band is hot. Mainly from Outside but some nice surprises like Boys Keep Swinging. Just nice to hear him again.

Bowie at his best
With the odd exception, the songs on this are for the Bowie 'die hard's'. The 'master' at his very best with great 'backing' from the band. Bowie relaxed engaging with the audience in between songs. A must listen too, if you have ben a Bowie fan since day one, should be a definite addition to your collection.
