I liked both the price/value and the sturdiness of this item, but one needs to know that there are production variations in the way these are created at the factory. So, the tolerances aren't as tight as one would like. I also found the positioning of the holes that you have to use to screw them into the way are restrictive when it comes to using a drill to screw them in. Once I compensated for that, they worked fine.

These work well for the 4 shelves I've hung using them, but wish the holes were closer together. They are just barely wider than your typical 2x4, so have to make sure your stud finder gets dead center of the stud and then angle fairly long screws inward to hit it.

Pins broke off, the first while just a fixing it to the wall. The other two once the shelf was added. There doesnt appear to be anything holding the pin to the bracket and it is clearly two pieces pushed together.

Just what I was looking for! Made my floating shelves with these and a couple of 2x4s.

Ordered these for a customer and several were not straight.

Mounted these and there was SO much play, they sagged even mounted in studs. And my shelves were only 36”x5.5”. The freaking rods BROKE OFF. Cheap cheap cheap, don’t waste your time.

These appear to be sturdy, I can't really comment on how easy they are to install or their effectiveness as I didn't realize, my mistake, how long they were. I was looking to put up a shelf in my bathroom from a piece of driftwood and realized that these are just too long, you would at least need a board 8" long. I don't know if I will use them but they look good.

The rod part of the bracket was not the same width amongst all four of the set and the bracket itself was not square/aligned/level! There was about a 3/8 difference from one end of the bracket to the other. Given the width of these brackets are only a couple of inches, that is really bad! When placing these against the wall with my shelf, the shelf was not able to sit flush with the wall. How in the world they got 70% for 5 stars is beyond me!

The product seems to be quite strong, the drilling of the hole in the shelf needs to be very accurate as well the mounting to the wall is a bit ofa challenge as most walls are not perfectly flat, meaning that the brackets do t remain perfectly parallel. I had to slightly lossen the screws to get the brackets to fit into the shelf.

Quality is reasonable.It is difficult to make the holes perfectly match. Don’t expect an easy installation but it is not the issue with the product, it a part of this type of mounting and hardware.It eventually worked fine for me.

It's easier to install if you have a drill press with a vice attached to the drill press table. It's doable without, but you must line up the drill holes perfectly in the shelf. I used butcherblock shelves. Looks really nice without the showing L brackets attached underneath the shelves.

2 of the 4 brackets are crooked. Quality control is not good. Would not purchase again.

Reasonably priced. Simple and sturdy product. Worked well on our fireplace mantle that is only 5.5 in deep. We routed out the wood to countersink the brackets. Would recommend this to fit shelf tight on wall.
