It sounded like it was inside the walls
I kept hearing little scratching noises around the house but could not pinpoint where they were coming from. It sounded like it was inside the walls, then under furniture, and just generally around the house. I was finally able to find proof of the little boogers, I found mouse poo! I didn't want to kill them so I decided to try Eco Defense Mice Repellent-Rodent Gone spray, Eco Defense Mice Repellent Pellets-Rodent Guard, Peppermint Essential oil, and the uHome UltraSonic Pest Control. I was totally grossed out by the mice and wanted them gone yesterday so I decided to hit the little boogers with everything I could find that would not kill them and just make them leave. It worked!!! Unfortunately, I cannot tell which one of these products did the trick. Most likely it was the combination of all of these that got rid of the mice. It took about a week and all activity stopped. In total, I saw 1 mouse just running back and forth from the bathroom to the living room. I'm thinking it was trying to get away from the noise the ultrasonic pest control was producing...but I caught the little mouse and set him free a good distance from my house. The only reason I am giving the uHome UltraSonic Pest Control 4 stars instead of 5 is because when all is quiet in the home, you can hear the noise it is making. It is barely audible but still there. You cannot hear it if the house is not library quiet. I was able to get used to it quickly so it is not bothersome but just know that it's there in case this might bother you.Eco Defense Mice Repellent-Rodent Gone spray, Eco Defense Mice Repellent Pellets-Rodent Guard, Peppermint Essential oil all get 5 stars. They were easy to use and made the house smell kind of woodsy. My family likes the way it makes my house smell. I no longer smell it. Seems to work as rat deterrent
I live on a Canyon (dirt road) and don't drive all that much. When a friend came over to check my car it had a big rat's nest under the hood. After cleaning it completely out I sprayed regular essential peppermint oil mixed with water, when I checked next morning I saw a little rat activity and cleaned it out again. Last night I used this product and sprayed under the hood and around the car and no activity this morning.I purchased this product awhile ago but hadn't been using it, the con about this product is that it gets very thick and sticky and I would only spray it underneath the hood, but I'm so paranoid that they chew through to get in the main compartment, it would absolutely freak me out if I knew there is rat activity. So after doing more research I learned that rodents don't like light, so I purchased some USB rechargable lights here on Amazon to put under the hood, the main compartment and also in the trunk at night. In addition I found a product on Google called DBZon repellent, which is an electronic device that even changes frequencies so rodents don't get used to the sound and invade anyway. I'm so afraid of mice and rats especially that I'm hitting it from all angles. I once had a mouse walk across my dashboard in a different car and it freaked me out, I would not get in it anymore and traded cars with my late husband for 2 years, I then passed the car on to my son. My now car is new and I'm so disappointed, I would take squirrels any day. I'm going to continue to spray this product as well.

PROFESSIONALS AGREE: WORTHLESS
I bought this months before ever trying it, just to be prepared. It wasn't until my Amazon return window was past that I ended up hearing a mouse in our wall and decided to start using this...and researching. I really wish I'd saved my $25 by doing research FIRST. Ask ANY pesk control expert (professional, or person who has actually dealt with rodent infestation) and the answer is the same: these sprays (and any essential-oil based home remedy like them) are completely worthless. Instead of reading the product reviews here, just Google it and you'll get your real answer. OR waste $25 and try this stuff and watch as the mice literally crawl around on top of surfaces you just saturated with it. I went outside and absolutely soaked the cracks around our cement porch where I'd seen the mice coming and going, as well as all over the screen in our basement window well, which a mouse has been using as a ladder to crawl into the window well. Within a half an hour I saw the mouse crawling around sniffing at the window screen and completely ignoring the dripping repellent as it happily nibbled at some grass blades. This let me confirm with my own eyes what the pros had written: even if slightly bothered by the scent in these repellents, mice are well adapted to survive. If they have found a warm, secure place to live they are NOT about to give that up. And as far as I could see they didn't even mind the smell. Also, if you think this company will stand behind its product, guess again. I visited their website and it looks almost fake: no contact information, nothing more than some product descriptions. The side of the bottle boasts a "100% Satisfaction Guarantee". What is that good for? It just goes to prove that anyone can write anything on the side of a package and it doesn't have to mean anything.
